Before watching someone’s pet, I always ask about their routine (food, walks, potty schedule), behavior and triggers, any medical needs (meds, allergies, vet info), and what rules they follow at home. I also confirm safety details like leash/harness setup, escape risks, and an emergency plan so I can keep everything calm, consistent, and secure.
A typical day
We’ll go on relaxed walks with plenty of time to explore and get fresh air. During sitting, I’ll do light play, make sure they have water and a bathroom break, and keep them comfortable with a calm routine and some quiet attention.

Hi my name is Alyssa and I have been caring for animals for over 6 years! I have always grown up with dogs in my family as well as hamsters and fish. I have a special love when it comes to pets. I believe pets need someone who is kind and loving and I am just that person. I currently have 2 dogs! I am comfortable with any size dogs, shy or hyper. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Alyssa has been absolutely amazing with my dog, I could tell she truly loves animals from my first time meeting her. I have an extremely hyper english bulldog and alyssa is so loving, playful, and patient with her. all my animals absolutely love alyssa. She is very approachable and likable from the first time meeting. if you want an awesome dog walker/sitter then she is your girl!
Alyssa is the best fur baby friend!!! I don’t trust anyone with my little guy and she was so gentle and patient with him. He’s only 10lbs and skiddish, but after a few intro visits he took to her so well. She loves to cuddle and play with him and he loves their walks around the neighborhood. I’m so grateful to have someone I can trust and relax about leaving my baby with. Highly recommend her! She’s dependable, responsible and courteous. Always communicates well and promptly.
