Pet care is already a major part of my everyday life through my professional work in a kennel environment. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care around my regular work schedule, and I keep my Rover calendar updated so clients can see my current availability. When I accept a booking, I make sure I have enough time to follow the pet’s normal routine without rushing. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication times, and any comfort routines your pet is accustomed to.

During visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration, basic cleanup, and plenty of attention. I monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, mobility, or general comfort and will communicate promptly if I notice anything concerning. I also provide photo updates and a clear summary of each visit.

Before caring for a new pet, I like to know their feeding and bathroom routine, activity level, temperament, medication needs, triggers or fears, leash behavior, history with strangers or other animals, and any medical or behavioral concerns. For house sitting, I also ask how long the pet is comfortable being alone and what their normal sleeping routine looks like. I prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet whenever possible so everyone feels comfortable before the first booking.
A typical day
A typical day is tailored to your pet’s personality, energy level, and normal routine. For dogs, that may include walks, sniffing time, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of affection. For cats, I provide playtime, feeding, litter box care, gentle attention, or quiet companionship depending on what they prefer. I’m also happy to follow medication schedules, practice basic commands, and provide photo updates throughout the day.

I currently work professionally as a receptionist and lead kennel technician at a busy boarding and grooming facility. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, and individual needs. My daily work includes feeding, walking, safely handling dogs, cleaning and sanitizing kennels, monitoring behavior and overall well-being, and communicating with pet parents. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, anxious or shy dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets who need a little extra patience. I also have experience administering oral and topical medications, as well as certain owner-provided injections when clear written instructions are provided. I understand how important accuracy and consistency are when caring for pets with medication schedules or special routines. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to provide detailed updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is being well cared for while you’re away.
