My schedule is 100% flexible! Because dogs are my full time job, I’m able to be home to spend all my time with them. Between hanging out in the large fenced yard, enrichment activities, walks, and playtime with my own dogs (if dog friendly), I will ensure your pup gets appropriate physical and mental stimulation.

Any behavioral concerns regarding anxiety, destruction behaviors, aggression, and reactivity is important to note. I also like to have your vet’s name and number as well as your dog’s typical routine. If your dog has a favorite activity or trick- let me know so we can have some fun! Scheduling a meet and greet prior to booking will allow your dog to get comfortable here and ensure we will be a good match!
A typical day
We have a large, fully fenced and private yard that I love spending time with dogs in. I understand the value and importance in physical activity, but also love to play brain/pattern games as well as employ puzzles and enrichment items! Dog friendly pups are also welcome to hang out and play with my own social dogs that love meeting new friends! I will also send daily updates on how your pup is doing along with photos/videos of what we’ve been getting into.

As a professional dog trainer with 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, and a B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University, I have a vast amount of knowledge in animal behavior and care. This includes, but is not limited to administering medications or injections and senior/special needs care. I am also comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs.

Alyssa is the best dog sitter!! She took very good care with my 2 little pups that can be a pain at times. The dogs have found a new bff and I look forward to having her watch them again!

Alyssa was wonderful with our 7mo old puppy Ruby. Ruby needed additional attention and was not used to new situations and Alyssa went out of her way to make things easier for Ruby. Alyssa sent frequent videos/pictures and updated throughout the day and let me know when Ruby was having a tough time and what she was trying to make it easier. I would recommend Alyssa 100%.
