Walks, cuddles, and TLC
Hi there! I have been looking after animals since middle school, and I have two rescue dogs myself that are my whole world! During pharmacy school at the University of South Carolina, I would frequently care for multiple families dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters and houses. After graduating pharmacy school, I worked as a pharmacist for Chewy, gaining experience and knowledge in pet medication and behavior. I have recently moved back to the Columbia area and would love to make sure your pets are happy, healthy, and well-loved!

Alyssa is an exceptional caregiver when it comes to animals, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. I have known and loved her passion for animals for almost a decade now. She has been a loving and attentive caretaker for my two cats, Fitzgerald and August, as well as her own dogs, Dewey and Paco, providing them with the affection, care, and attention they deserve. Alyssa has also played a pivotal role in looking after me and my roommate's dogs, Milo and Mango, during my time in undergrad and graduate school, making sure they were comfortable, safe, and happy on our long days on campus and at work. Her deep compassion for animals is backed by her experience working at Chewy Pharmacy, where she gained valuable knowledge in veterinary medicine, learning about animal health, medications, and treatments. Alyssa's combination of professional expertise and natural empathy makes her an invaluable presence in the lives of the animals she cares for.

I am currently working part-time so my schedule is very open. I am free most weekends and always available for a long walk in the afternoons!

A typical day
My dogs are huge cuddle bugs and love to sun bathe and go for walks. I love engaging with animals and playing any of their favorite games or sitting with them and giving them attention.
