Hello! I'm Alyssa, and I'm so excited to share my love for animals with you and your family! I have been caring for animals just about my whole life- whether that be cats, dogs, fish, or exotic reptiles! I started fostering shelter animals with my family around 12 years of age, when we would foster pregnant mother cats and help mom and kittens find homes. I've also been known to pet-sit and house-sit for my neighbors (I even got to meet some chickens along the way!).

Zeitplan
Though I'm currently working full-time, my entire routine revolves around my animals and their care! Every day, my dogs are fed on time, provided fresh water, let outside to potty, and cared for on a routine to ensure they are always comfortable and safe. The same applies to my cat, but she does not go outside! :) Weekly, everyone is brushed, re-stocked on food, and bedding is cleaned. Pet care isn't something to just squeeze in when possible. It is intentionally built into my schedule, because their well-being depends on me and my consistency.

Though I tailor my care to each pet and their needs, my main goal is to ensure your pets feel safe and sound. I strive to keep your furry friends comfortable by maintaining routines in their own environments (such as drop-in visits). This is why it is important to me to meet your pets before my first time dropping in or pet-sitting for your family. I will treat your pets just as my own, which means fresh water, timely feedings, frequent potty breaks, walks, brushing, and/or litter box cleaning- if applicable. I also love sending regular updates to owners, so everyone stays confident while their pets are in my care!

Ein typischer Tag
I absolutely love playing fetch with my big guys and make sure to take them on walks to burn off some extra energy before I head out for the day. On those cold winter days when the snow is too tough on their paws, I keep them entertained with stimulating toys and treats like lick mats, puzzles, and snuffle mats. I'd be thrilled to do the same for your pets (with your approval, of course!) - keeping them engaged, happy, and cozy, no matter the weather!
