I have owned animals my entire 20 years of life, and have an ongoing interest and compassion for them. In my eyes, animals are my family. I desire to provide the best and most comforting care I can. I worked at a doggy day care as an animal care technician, where my duties included watching over all of the dogs while multi tasking and making sure everyone in the room is comfortable and safe, administering medication, feeding, bathing, and keeping everything clean. I graduated from a Certified Veterinary Technician course in 2018 where I learned CPR, obtained knowledge on many different ailments making it easier for me to treat or administer medications and moniter the animal, this also means I know the signs of something wrong, and consider myself naturally intuitively inclined with animals. I have worked as a veterinary technician in holistic and western medicine for about a year, but am currently not in the field. I am focusing on other aspects of my life. I am attentive and patient with my furry friends and always will provide them with fun and love. I am compassionate, understanding, patient and up to anything. I am a reasonable gal so I am flexible with pricing. I am open to reptiles and pocket pets, all are welcome. I will feed, bathe, walk, run, play, and adventure with your furry legged friend.. or friends (: the More the merrier ! I can trim nails, and do light grooming if needed, along with ear cleanings. Alyssa was great with our two Dobermans. One of our dobies is not great with strangers at first but Alyssa handled it with ease. The dogs accepted her quickly and seemed happy and content throughout the weekend. Alyssa updated us with pictures. Would definitely recommend and use her again.
Alyssa was fantastic with our puppies! A couple of our dogs are leery of new people in the house, but they were immediately comfortable with Alyssa. She was very responsive and sent many pictures and videos of our puppies during our time away. This let us truly relax in the knowledge that our puppies were being taken care of in an excellent fashion. We really could not have asked for a better experience with someone taking care of our house and dogs. We will definitely be asking Alyssa for her help watching our dogs when we are planning our next trip.
Alyssa was absolutely wonderful! I went out of town for the weekend and had my 107 lb German Shepherd stay with her. She is through with thw dogs that she watches. She sent me pictures of my big boy while I was away and kept me well updated. He is very large so I get nervous anytime anyone watches him. I am happy he loved her so much and he made a new friend. I would definitely recommended her for all your pet-sitting needs ❤
Alyssa has been a sitter for our 3 shitzus for the past 3 years, ever since they were puppies. She is very knowledgeable about puppy care. She is going to school to become a vet tech and eventually going to on to become a veterinarian. She has a true calling with animals. Her true love for animals shows in all of her efforts. All 3 of my dogs love her and are always happy to see her. When she walks in the house (she can hardly get through the door) they jump all over her and fight to be the one she picks up first. She has been dependable and reliable and is always pleasant and happy. I have NEVER had a problem coming home to a messy house, she cleans up after herself and always goes above and beyond what I would expect from a pet sitter. The pictures she sends are so cute and my pets totally get spoiled. My worries are at ease when they are in her care. I would recommend Alyssa over and over because she is knowledgeable, reliable, responsible, compassionate, loving and enthusiastic. She is always there when I need her, and is more than willing to help. Make her your new pet sitter! You won't regret it.
This was the best rover experience I have had yet!!! She over exceeded our expectations!! Lots of updates & photos and she brushed our pup!! Our dog is VERY skeptic of anyone off the bat and she warmed right up to Alyssa and sounds like they had a blast all weekend!!! My boyfriend and I are very pleased and think we have found our forever rover!
