I live with a friendly 1-year-and-7-month-old English Springer Spaniel who loves socializing, and two cat companions who are dog-friendly and mostly independent. I ensure all pets feel comfortable, respected, and included at their own pace, providing plenty of playtime, attention, treats, and care tailored to their needs. When caring for pets in their own home: I follow the routine and rules set by the owner to provide consistency and comfort. I handle feeding, playtime, walks, litter box maintenance, medication administration, and companionship, making sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their family is away.

A typical day
We have lots of fun around here! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, our days include backyard zoomies in a fully fenced yard, games of fetch and tug, sniffy walks, and brain games that keep curious minds busy. Inside, there’s plenty of playtime, cozy nap breaks, and one-on-one love. Dogs who enjoy company get safe, supervised social time with my friendly pup, while cats get gentle play, enrichment toys, and calm attention on their terms.

Alyssa really put my mind to ease caring for my dog while I was away. Bruno can be a bit difficult so I can be particular about who I leave him with. She asked all of the right questions and sent some really great photo updates to show me how he was doing. Alyssa has a natural ability to connect with animals and make them feel right at home. I appreciated the attention to detail that Alyssa put for my dog Charlie. Other dog walkers I have used did not ask what commands Charlie knows, what commands I would like to reenforce during walks, and if there are any bad habits I would like broken. It showed that she was focusing on helping me as an owner along with Charlie.
