Pet care experience
*Appreciative disabled dog-sitter*
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: *I am a disabled student and my dog of 16+ years passed a year ago with congestive heart failure due to old age, but she took care of me just as much as I took care of her! With my open availability, I aim to provide socialization, fun, and growth for your pet AND myself alike! Having the ability to care for dogs through rover provides me lots of love I'm missing since my own dogs passing, making your dog and I mutual beneficiaries.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY - For leash-reactive or general aggression, please let me know in advance so that we may execute the safest booking possible. Depending on the severity, my weight-limit acceptance is ~75lbs. - Meet & Greets before accepting a booking is always available upon requests made with 48+ hour notice. - In cases of high AQI (low air quality), dogs will be taken out for a potty break only. I'm happy to spend the rest of the booking time inside playing with them, but their safety is my #1 priority. I will check each day to make sure it's safe for them, and if it reaches above 100, I will let you know to decide how you would like to move forward for that days walk!
Ratings and reviews
Alyssa was amazing for our first walk! I was hesitant because I wasn’t able to do a meet & greet beforehand but she made me feel comfortable and communicated each step of the way. I knew Tully was in great hands! She was patient with my anxious pup and I’m excited to say I have a new sitter for my baby!

Alyssa was amazing with willow! Very patient and caring. I trust her to take great care of willow. Will book again!

Alyssa was incredible as always with my dog!

Alyssa is always the best! She sends regular updates when she has Miller and is super positive and caring, which means the world for us and our anxious dog!

Alyssa is absolutely incredible! She was amazing with my dog who is somewhat nervous/anxious and relatively new to the city. She was truly cares and takes the time to learn about your dog’s personality and likes/dislikes. She is reliable and always communicates and updates you every step of the way! I can’t wait to use her for more walks!

I’m so happy to have met Alyssa. She’s delightful and her love of dogs is inspirational! Woody clearly loved her!
