Hi! I’m Alyssa, a stay-at-home mom and lifelong animal lover. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from small companion breeds to large dogs like my Cane Corso. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Since I’m home most of the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications, reinforcing training routines, and caring for senior dogs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

Allyssa was great to work with. Lots of photos and updates. She knew how to handle my dog perfectly. If your in Portland Metro area or Gresham/ Sandy definitely can say go for it. Would book again if needed.
Alyssa took great care of my spoiled senior poodle. She provided regular updates and was proactive with questions. Knowing he was in great hands, receiving lots of attention and love allowed me to really relax and enjoy my vacation.
Aly took good care of Mando. She is dedicated and kind. I appreciated how well she communicated and kept me updated. I would definitely recommend her!
We could not have asked for a better experience! Alyssa took exceptional care of Milo and showered him with so much love and attention. She checked in with us multiple times every single day, took him on fun outings, and even treated him to pup cups! When our plans changed and we needed to extend his stay by over a week, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. It gave us total peace of mind knowing Milo was having as much fun as we were. We will 100% be booking with Alyssa again!
I cannot say enough positive things about Alyssa! I give her 11/10 stars. She was so absolutely wonderful with my pup, kind and responsive and caring. This is the best Rover experience I've had thus far by miles. I will definitely be rebooking in the future 💜🐶

Schedule
As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m available for boarding and doggy daycare most weekdays and weekends. Your pet will rarely be left alone and will receive lots of playtime, potty breaks, affection, and personalized care based on their needs and routine.

I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I provide a calm, loving environment where pets are treated like family. I send regular photo updates so you can feel confident knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
Every day is structured around your dog’s needs, energy level, and routine. Mornings start with potty breaks, feeding, and gentle attention so your dog feels settled and comfortable. Throughout the day, I include a balance of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation such as sniff walks, enrichment games, or basic training reinforcement if requested. I make sure dogs are not left alone for long periods and adjust activity levels based on age, breed, and personality. High-energy dogs get more structured exercise, while calmer dogs get relaxed companionship and comfort. Evenings include a final walk, dinner, and winding down so your dog can feel safe and relaxed overnight.

- It’s important for me to know about any medical needs, medications, anxiety, aggression triggers, or special routines your dog has so I can provide the best care possible. Please also let me know how your dog does on walks, around other animals, and with new people. My preference is clear instructions and honest communication so I can keep your pet comfortable and avoid stressful situations. I’m especially attentive to dogs with unique needs or high energy levels so I can adjust care accordingly.
