Alyssa was incredible. This was the first time we were leaving our dog Nelli with someone other than family or a very close family friend so we were very nervous. But Alyssa certainly made our nerves disappear. She was extremely good at sending us pictures and updating us every single day. She went above and beyond for our girl and we are extremely grateful. Would 100% book with her again!
Alyssa was very pleasant and easy to work with. From the moment I had the meet and greet with her, I knew she would take excellent care of my dog. She is very thoughtful and responsive, and she provided many updates during my dog’s stay with her. I also love the fact that she only takes care of one dog at a time which ensures your dog will get the all the attention! I will definitely be rebooking with Alyssa going forward!

Schedule
I currently work full-time Monday through Friday 9-5 p.m. on Capitol Hill. Providing services through Rover after work and on weekends allows me to assist pet parents and enjoy time with their animals as well.

I live in a safe neighborhood with a dog park and suburban area making walks easy. If you wish to have your pet crated, we can do that, however I allow pets to relax on the couch and even the bed - making your pet feel as comfortable as possible while missing you is my top priority. Please know there are no plants in my home that are harmful to animals, and all toxic chemicals (i.e. cleaning supplies, detergent, etc.) are safely stored away to ensure the best safety for your pet.
A typical day
A typical day with me as your pet sitter is filled with care, attention, and love for your furry friend. I start the day with a warm greeting, making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine, whether it's feeding times, medication schedules, or specific commands. I monitor their behavior and well-being, providing lots of affection and reassurance, especially if they’re feeling a bit anxious. I also keep you updated with photos, messages, or quick check-ins so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. In the evening, I wind down the day with a calming routine, ensuring they are comfortable and content. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment that feels like a home away from home, giving you peace of mind and your pet a joyful, stress-free experience.
