I grew up having dogs my whole life. I have a dog of my own who loves meeting new friends. I have volunteered at animal shelters for over 5 years. I also have experience fostering animals, as well as dog sitting different types of dogs for friends and family. I love working with animals, and have a lot of experience with them. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to be available at all times throughout the day. I have experience with dog walking and can keep pets overnight. Also, I will follow any special routine for dogs with more advance needs. I hope to work with you soon and enjoy meeting your furry best friend. Thank you very much!

Alyssa, Bruce (her dog) and her home was a perfect match for our 2 dogs, Lola (4 yr old 55 lb) and Tucker (2 yr old 25 lb recently adopted). The combination of Alyssa's genuine caring, responsible, dog loving, positive and communicative personality, along with Bruce as a playmate, and her dog friendly home with large fenced yard, Lola and Tucker were comfortable, happy and entertained. We felt confident our dogs were in a good hands. We used her for 5 nights and would use her services again as well as recommend her. We drove 50 min for her services and felt worth the distance.
Alyssa was AMAZING with our two large dogs over 3.5 days! She was super patient/friendly, and kept in touch every day with photos of the dogs living it up in the yard. We couldn't be happier with the care/attention our dogs received and would definitely book with Alyssa again!

Alyssa was very friendly, and easy to deal with. She suggested a meet and greet to make sure our dog Albert and her dog Brucie were compatible, which was good and responsible thinking. She sent us notes and pics throughout Albert's 10 day stay, and we know he enjoyed his stay. Great to know that we have a reliable, responsible new friend to watch our dog when needed.

Schedule
Because I work from home I can be home the majority of the day and my schedule is very flexible. I also keep my availability schedule updated.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on an acre of land with a fenced in backyard. There is a lot of room to run and play inside the house as well as outside. I do not feel comfortable boarding a dog who attempts to “escape” from yards.

A typical day
Running and fetch in the yard. Hikes in the loca state park. Walks at local parks. Playtime with other dogs at home or at dog park.
