Operation: Pet 100 Dogs has begun!
Hello, I’m Alyssa! I love all pets and have my Bachelor’s in Animal Science to back that up! I am able to perform CPR on dogs, administer medicine if needed, and my schedule is flexible if notified within a certain amount of time. I’ve put in over 200 hours of shadowing at several veterinary clinics while working towards my Veterinary Assisting Certification. If your dog is high-energy, I’ll be more than happy to play with them all day. And if they are the complete opposite of that, then I am also more than happy to chill with them like the couch potato they are!

Safety, trust & environment
In my clients’ homes, I allow their pets to show me their personal boundaries (whether they are laidback & like to just chill, or if they want their entire drop-in to be filled with playtime) and then cater to their individual needs as such! I ensure each animal has food as directed & water, and plenty of potty breaks to avoid accidents.

Alyssa did great again. She is great with Cubbie and we look forward to her next visit. When I leave the house without my lil man, I know he will be well taken care of.
Alyssa has patience. My lil guy has human issues, he likes humans but can't remember who he already knows. Alyssa gives Cubbie time and before you know he's hanging out with her. I appreciate her patience. When I get home, he is happy.
Alyssa was great! She communicated regularly, sent lots of pictures of my cats, and made me feel at ease while I was away!

Alyssa was awesome, Cubbie when I got home was so calm. He for sure enjoyed his sitter, he didnt even meet me at the door like always. Alyssa was a great human for him, and we both appreciate her care.

Schedule
I do have a full-time job (Monday through Friday), but my schedule allows me to be free on evenings and weekends to spend getting to care for your furry friends! I work for a state agency, so I will also often have state/federal holidays off—meaning more Rover availability for your pet.
