I work from home most days of the week so I can be flexible on timing for weekday drop-ins or walks! If a pup is boarding with me, I’m home most of the day and able to give potty breaks every few hours as needed! On most weather permitting days, I walk my pup Lucy a 2 mile loop for exercise and am happy to bring your pup along!

In my home I have the ability to block off pups to the downstairs hardwood area, room for a crate if they need crated while away. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I have a balcony that Lucy loves to lounge on and people watch!

If your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs, we are unfortunately not a good match for any boarding services. If they are prone to chewing items or furniture, that is also a non-negotiable unless I am boarding in your home and can bring my dog Lucy for the stay.

During a stay with me, your dog will walk the beautiful neighborhoods of Wadsworth and possibly the towpath! We will run like crazy at the Wadsworth Dog Park where there is a half-wooded, half-grass play area for large dogs and a flat, grassy area for small dogs to play!

I grew up with a 5lb Yorkshire Terrier that blessed us for 14 years but am now an official dog mom to Lucy, a 65lb Labradoodle. We spend our time cuddling, walking, running at the dog park, and when it's warm you'll find us at dog friendly breweries and restaurants with our friends! I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and am comfortable administering medicine (oral injections, oral pills, ear drops). At my house, we spend our evenings and weekends outside when possible either walking/running or at the dog park (Wadsworth Dog Park - a half-wooded/half-grass large dog area and and a flat, grass small dog area) but we spend our downtime playing with toys and cuddling! For a drop-in visit, I am full of energy and will likely be more excited than your dog! I believe in getting your dog outside to stretch their legs and walk out any potty or bowel movements. Any extra time is for walking, playing, cuddles and filling up water/food or treats!

Alyssa was wonderful and went above and beyond with our dogs, but especially our older dog. She hand fed him and cleaned up after his puke, two things we obviously hoped she wouldn't have to do. She sent great updates and pictures after each visit. Definitely recommend!
Alyssa was wonderful! It’s hard leaving my fur babies alone for so long but she gave them all the snuggles and love that I would and I’m so great full! I will continue to use her services! Thank you!
Alyssa did an excellent job with a drop in visit with our Dobie pup. She arrived in a timely manner and stayed the time requested, took him out on leash as instructed and even cleaned up the kitchen floor from his excited accident. Will definitely request her services in the future!!!!
This was our first time to use Rover and have Alyssa look after our two cats, and we are more than happy with the work. Alyssa was really available and helpful in setting up our appointments answering questions quickly and fully. It's clear that Alyssa loves animals and our cats were obviously well cared for in the 4 days she cared for them. Great work and thanks very much.
