I’m a dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’ve hosted multiple dogs at a time and have learned how important structure, supervision, and a calm environment are for keeping everyone happy and safe. I specialize in caring for small to medium-sized dogs to ensure a well-balanced and manageable group. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away. Whether that means playtime or just a cozy place to relax I tailor care to each dog’s needs. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, so I always prioritize safety, communication, and keeping you updated with photos and messages. This was our first time with Alyssa. Unfortunately, my little girl went on a hunger strike for a few days. Alyssa kept me aware and informed. I really appreciated that because she became very ill the last time I boarded her. That sitter took good care of her too. I would definately use Alyssa again.
We are so happy to have found Alyssa and her very doggie friendly home and property. Picked up Marley boy last night and he was very happy and relaxed. He has new besties in Alyssa, Benny & Jagger & we look forward to more visits!
Alyssa is great! She has watched our dog, Winnie, a few times now. We can tell Winnie likes going as she gets excited on the car drive over. Winnie always has a good time in Alyssa's care; looking forward to next time!
As always, a lovely experience for us and for our fur baby staying with Alyssa. We know Miss Maple is well cared for and loved while we are gone. Alyssa sends us photos that we excitedly look forward to. We very much appreciate how flexible Alyssa is for pick up and drop off and how quick she responds to text messages. Highly recommend Alyssa!

Schedule
My schedule is very dog-focused, and I plan my day around the dogs in my care. I’m typically home most of the day and try not to be away for more than about 3 hours at a time. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, and plenty of attention so your dog feels comfortable and well cared for during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a little over an acre in a quiet neighborhood with a securely fenced yard that provides plenty of grassy space for dogs to explore and play. Dogs are always supervised while outside and are never left in the yard unattended. I do have a pool that is not separately fenced, so please let me know if your dog has limited experience around pools so I can take extra precautions. Inside the home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They are welcome on the furniture, but I’m always happy to follow any rules or routines you have for your pet so they stay comfortable and consistent with what they’re used to at home.

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of outdoor time for the dogs to run, explore the yard, and play. I love spending time outside with them, whether that’s playing fetch, letting them explore, or just relaxing in the sun. Dogs who enjoy the water are welcome to take a supervised dip in the pool. I balance active time with downtime inside so the dogs can rest, relax, and feel at home. My goal is to keep their day fun, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible.
