I’m a dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’ve hosted multiple dogs at a time and have learned how important structure, supervision, and a calm environment are for keeping everyone happy and safe. I specialize in caring for small to medium-sized dogs to ensure a well-balanced and manageable group. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away. Whether that means playtime or just a cozy place to relax I tailor care to each dog’s needs. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, so I always prioritize safety, communication, and keeping you updated with photos and messages. Alyssa cared for our Lily for the first time when our regular Rover sitter was on vacation. She was a pleasure to work with and took great care of our girl. Highly recommend her.
We love our stays at Alyssa’s! Our boy, Marley, gets very excited when we tell him where we’re headed, wagging his tail excitedly and talking the whole drive there. He can’t wait to get out of the car and begin his sniff fest on the property! Always a happy and exhausted boy when he gets home. He sleeps the first day home after each trip! Highly recommend Alyssa for you little dog’s care!
Alyssa took very good care of our dog while we enjoyed a long weekend away. He seemed very comfortable with her and we would love to use her again!!
Ruffles just loves staying with Alyssa! He runs to her when we drop off and we get pictures of him snuggling and playing. It’s so nice to know he is happy and well taken care of when we are gone.
We rebooked with Alyssa for a second time for an extended trip and again our Reggie had excellent care. Lots of love, attention and great care. We received lots of pictures and updates on how he was doing. Would highly recommend!
My dog had her first stay with Alyssa, and it was fantastic. Alyssa's commuication was thorough, and she was very concerned about my dog settling in, her eating patterns, etc. We enjoyed daily photos and updates. We missed our dog greatly while away, but felt comforted by the fact that she was clearly in excellent care. We will definitely be reaching out to Alyssa for future boarding requests!

Schedule
My schedule is very dog-focused, and I plan my day around the dogs in my care. I’m typically home most of the day and try not to be away for more than about 3 hours at a time. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, and plenty of attention so your dog feels comfortable and well cared for during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a little over an acre in a quiet neighborhood with a securely fenced yard that provides plenty of grassy space for dogs to explore and play. Dogs are always supervised while outside and are never left in the yard unattended. I do have a pool that is not separately fenced, so please let me know if your dog has limited experience around pools so I can take extra precautions. Inside the home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They are welcome on the furniture, but I’m always happy to follow any rules or routines you have for your pet so they stay comfortable and consistent with what they’re used to at home.

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of outdoor time for the dogs to run, explore the yard, and play. I love spending time outside with them, whether that’s playing fetch, letting them explore, or just relaxing in the sun. Dogs who enjoy the water are welcome to take a supervised dip in the pool. I balance active time with downtime inside so the dogs can rest, relax, and feel at home. My goal is to keep their day fun, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible.

- Before booking, I like to learn as much as possible about your dog so I can make sure they have a safe and comfortable stay. Please let me know about your dog’s temperament, energy level, and how they do around other dogs. It’s also helpful to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, sleeping habits, and any training they’re currently working on. If your dog has any medical needs, allergies, or medications, please include that as well. Since dogs will be in a shared environment, I do require that they are comfortable around other dogs and respectful of boundaries. Please also let me know if your dog has any behaviors such as resource guarding, escaping fences, excessive barking, or separation anxiety so I can determine if it’s a good fit. I always schedule a meet & greet before new stays to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
