Currently at home full time with my baby until August, so I rarely leave the house beyond a couple of hours. When working, I am out of the house for about 8 hours, and can make trips home over lunch hour if needed.

Information Alyssa F. would like to know about your pet
I am mostly familiar with behavioural issues including people and other animal reactivity. My own dog Jasper broke his leg at 11 weeks old, so I have experience in stimulating less mobile dogs. I have given oral/topical medication to our rescues at furbabies, and know what signs to look for in ailments and injuries.
A typical day
I have fostered dogs of all ages and energy levels. I know how much stimulation is needed for certain breeds, and can ensure they get enough physical exertion, as well as mental stimulation. I have taken group puppy classes with my own dogs, so can help provide help in fundamentals at a young age. Additionally, I have fostered dogs with severe reactive behaviours and worked with them to realize what being a dog can be like given proper love and attention.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life, but in my adult years have spent a great time volunteering with a rescue in when I lived there. I have fostered dogs in my homes of all breeds, sizes and genders, and help in their isolation units ensuring all the new rescues get essentials and tons of cuddles! I have owned my own small rescue dog in the past, and currently own 2 mini Aussies who love making fur friends!

I was very appreciative with the ease of setting up a meet & greet and that Alyssa went above and beyond to make daily house visits to check in on my cat on top of taking care of my dog. I also loved the amount of pictures that were being sent. Very pleased and will definitely book with Alyssa again.
Ellie was so happy when I came home. Alyssa took the time to let Ellie get to know her since shes quite timid. She was walked also got a chance to play w her little fur friend from daycare at the dog park. I will definitely be using Alyssa weekly for Ellies walks :)
