Hi! I’m a work-from-home professional with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability to provide your fur babies with the attention, care, and love they deserve. 🐾 I grew up caring for our large family dog, an Airedale terrier, for over 10 years, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. These days, I’m lucky to co-parent four wonderful fur babies: Maia, my sweet beagle mix with medical needs; Ghost, my lovable pit bull; Willow, a timid rescue; and Puddles, a loving kitty I rescued from the side of a busy road. I’m also the most proud mama of my black kitty, Binx. 🐈⬛🐾 Having Willow in my life has taught me the importance of patience, gentleness, and giving nervous pets the time and space they need to feel comfortable. Caring for Maia has also made me comfortable handling situations that require focus, attention to detail, and clear communication. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I’m happy to meet them where they are. I have over a year of experience caring for pets through Rover, so I understand the responsibility and trust that come with caring for someone’s beloved companion. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, cleaning up after pets, and maintaining established routines and training regimens. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals—whether that means getting their energy out through playtime, going for a walk, giving a nervous pup extra patience, or providing plenty of chin scratches and cuddles. Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them that way. I’m happy to follow your instructions and routines so your fur babies feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. ❤️

For drop-in visits, I’ll follow your pet’s routine and care instructions closely, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll ask questions whenever needed to make sure I’m providing the best care possible. I’ll also send updates, photos, and messages during every visit so you can have peace of mind and know how your fur baby is doing!

Alyssa is fantastic! She is very caring, and my cat loves spending time with her. She also communicated with us very actively - her notes and photos were very thoughtful and detailed. This is my second time asking for her visits, and I'll definitely reach out to Alyssa again when I need someone to take care of my feline.
Have used Alyssa multiple times now- just wanted to add a further review that she still is just as wonderful as the first visit- takes great care of my dog, sends daily updates and asks questions as needed, and gives me great peace of mind while I’m gone! Thank you again Alyssa for everything!
Alyssa was absolutely fantastic! Incredibly clear with her communication leading up to and during her stay with my pup! Provided me with updates and pictures on how he was doing, and I honestly think he had a better time with her than he does normally! I felt very confident in her abilities to care for my dog and to do what was best with him. I would highly recommend her (just don’t book her when I plan to! Lol). Thank you Alyssa for everything!!!
Alyssa took care of my cat for 5days. She left very detailed comments per every visit, and I could tell from the photos that my cat was having a great time with her. Definitely will ask for her help again.
Alyssa is a sweet, caring, and responsible young lady who has cared for my pet. She is very attentive to my pet's needs and provides lots of hugs and cuddles! Alyssa engages and stimulates my pet with conversations and play. Most importantly, Alyssa ensures his safety with constant supervision. I highly recommend Alyssa!

Schedule
I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and playtime, and I love having furry friends as part of my day!
