I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I'd be delighted to provide care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs (and other pocket pets) as well as horses and other large animals.

We had an excellent experience with Alyssa and felt completely comfortable leaving our boys in her care. They are both shy and were nervous at first, but she was patient with them and made them feel comfortable enough to come out, eat, and play with her. One of our cats has more complicated medical needs, and she handled his medication without any issues. She was punctual and dependable, kept me updated throughout our trip, and promptly reached out anytime something came up. She also took amazing care of our home and somehow left it even cleaner than we found it! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing our boys were being cared for by someone who was attentive, patient, and reliable. We would absolutely trust her with them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
Alyssa was so wonderful with my little one! Compationate and caring, she went above and beyond what I expected! I would recommend her 100% and will definitely book her again if the need arises!

I would highly recomend Alyssa for your pet sitting needs. She has taken care of my dogs, cats and horses several times over the last summer and fall. The animals love her. She punctual and takes the time to call you if there are any questions. She confirms the dates and times and when my Mother got sick out of state she was able to take care of my pets on short notice.
