I got that dawg in me
I worked in various positions at an animal shelter for 4 years, even taking animals to school for educational presentations as well as to news stations for promotional segments. Lifelong large dog, cat, and critter caretaker. I lost my everything—my 14yo big headed, chocolate, tripod angel girl, Hazel—in January 2026, so any extra time with all of my regulars and new pet friends is appreciated. I also have a perfect, grumpy-faced cat, CC ❤️ Experience with various behavioral and medical needs (love a naughty pet), bathing and grooming, special needs and feeding, and enrichment activities. I will probably assign some sort of personalized voice and personality to your pet if I’m not already aware of them. Happy to be active with the active ones and lazy with the lazy ones.

Safety, trust & environment
A few personal policies: - Meet and greets *required* for all dog bookings and are ideal for cat bookings as well, but go on a case-by-case basis. - Currently unable to walk multiple large dogs at the same time (unless they are truly the easiest walkers in existence 🥲) due to a recovering injury. - Key pickup/drop off: For our first booking, I’m happy to grab the key from you during our meet and greet and we can arrange a way to leave keys behind at the end of the booking. I highly suggest getting a lockbox for your keys if you don’t have keyless entry. Any coordination for additional visits to exchange keys, have me pick them up, or drop them off at any location will be $10-15 (depending on distance/if I need to pay to park) each to cover my time/travel expenses. - All pets need to be up to date on vaccines

Rover Review Alyssa was absolutely wonderful! She took care of my cats for three weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She sent me beautiful pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, everything was spotless and the cats were happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Alyssa and would definitely have her take care of my cats again! ❤️

Amazing as always
Alyssa is one of, if not the best, cat sitters I’ve ever had! She’s been going above and beyond with her visits and reports with our two kitties. She’s been prompt with her visits, doing everything we asked and more, and is clearly such an animal lover - being so sweet with our babies! One of our cats recently had a urinary blockage so we were worried to leave him for a long weekend and Alyssa has been recording and reporting all of the detail we were looking for to ensure he’s been doing ok. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is responsible, super sweet, and such an animal lover! Thank you so much Alyssa!!
Alyssa was absolutely amazing with Xandra and Neska! From the moment I met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and takes pet care seriously. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Both Xandra and Neska were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with Alyssa when I returned. She treated them like they were her own pets. It’s such a relief to know they were in such caring and capable hands. I would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate pet sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!
We! Love! Alyssa! Alyssa was great at providing detailed updates and gorgeous photos of our lovely cat Frankie while we were away. She was super responsive and extremely communicative. We threw Alyssa a couple of last-minute apartment-specific curveballs and she handled everything so kindly with a positive attitude!! Literally the perfect sitter for our cat and I wholeheartedly recommend!
