The dogs on my block know me like they do their owners! I've had experience caring for multiple pets on our street via house sitting for extended periods for over 8 years now. My personal favorite thing to do is create new connections with new animals, and treat them with such care that they remember me fondly the next time we meet. 🥰

Safety, trust & environment
The health and safety of the pets is my first priority. I always ask pet owners if there are any sneaky parts/hazards in the backyard or around the house they can escape from or could get into any trouble. I also like to double-check crating details like: how to safely secure the pets, or what makes the pet feel the most comfortable when crating. I never like leaving pets unattended unless I absolutely need to or am just doing drop-ins. Overall, I prioritize open communication about the client's specific needs around the house and the health and safety of their pet.

Alyssa showed up as scheduled, took Carly for a walk and it was obvious when we came back that Carly was relaxed and comfortable with her new friend. We are very comfortable putting our "child" into her capable hands in the future!
Alyssa is great and is one of the few “strangers” my skittish dog has befriended. Alyssa is punctual, attentive to my dog’s many needs, and is always quick to respond to my texts. She gives updates with photos and I can always be sure my dog is safe and in good hands. Plus, Alyssa is great about playing with my dog and giving her attention, which I appreciate so much. She has come over for day-long stays, night stays, drop-ins and everything in between. I highly recommend Alyssa!
Alyssa was so great with our dog, Kona. We were gone for a week, and she was timely and attentive with our sweet girls walks. I know Kona missed her because when we got home, Kona was waiting at the door at the designated walk times. Where's Alyssa, she seemed to be asking. We will definitely be working with her again :-)
Did fantastic job!
Alyssa was wonderful with our two pups and they are not the easiest to care for. She sent pictures and sent us updates on how Bella and Louie were doing. Administered meds and kept with their schedule. We will definitely ask Alyssa to watch our dogs again.

Schedule
I work full-time however, I work remotely two out of the 5 work days, so I am able to do my work at the house or mold my work day around whatever pet care duty I have that day/week! My schedule is very flexible and never usually structured unless instructed.
