What sets me apart is my lifelong connection with animals and my genuine, attentive approach to their care. I grew up caring for my own dog from a young age through her entire life, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to truly understand an animal’s needs at every stage. I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, including week-long stays, daily check-ins, and puppy care. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and adjust my care to match their personality and energy level. Beyond my personal experience, in the fall I am going to be pursuing graduate studies focused on urban wildlife (including animals like foxes and coyotes), which reflects my deeper passion for animal behavior and care. This gives me a unique perspective and respect for animals that goes beyond basic pet sitting. I am committed to being reliable, communicative, and fully attentive to your pet’s needs.

I currently offer pet care in my client’s home through drop-in visits and walks, as I am not boarding pets in my own home at this time. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, medications (if needed), litter box cleaning, and exercise. I always make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure to keep your pet safe at all times. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious pets, and I pay close attention to behavior and surroundings to ensure everything is safe and running smoothly. I also respect your home by keeping everything clean and exactly as you left it. Communication is very important to me, so I provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Alyssa was great with my cat and had excellent communication! She sent updates and pictures with every check-in and I felt very comfortable leaving Mango in her care. I would definitely book again!
Alyssa was terrific and I would absolutely have her watch our dog again. Our dog is very smart and sensitive and takes time to get to know people. Therefore, I was very concerned about having someone do drop ins while I was away, because our dog is not used to that. Alyssa was very attentive and instinctively understood what our dog needed, and made the whole experience comfortable. She is polite, kind, and a pleasure to talk with. Thank you, Alyssa!!
Alyssa was amazing. Needed a last minute walk for my for foster dog Haze and she was able to accommodate my request! Haze has reactivity issues and she handle him perfectly. I’m very grateful and will definitely be booking her again if needed.
I can’t recommend Alyssa highly enough! She took amazing care of our dog while we were out of town for a week and gave me complete peace of mind the entire time. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention and affection. I also appreciated the regular updates and photos, which made being away so much easier. Schedule
I have recently moved to Baltimore, and I am now beginning my Master’s at Towson University. As of now, I may be fairly busy during the week. However, my schedule may be flexible, and I am most available for walks and drop-in visits, especially in the late afternoon and weekends. I’m reliable and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet receives consistent, attentive care.
