I've been around animals my entire life and have grown up with nine family dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience includes German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Labradors, and many rescue dogs with mixes including Pit Bull, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Jack Russell Terrier, and more. Caring for dogs with different temperaments has taught me that every pet has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know each one's personality. I also volunteered at Second Chance Animal Rescue near Orlando, where I walked and fed dogs, cared for cats, and even looked after the occasional peacock! Although I can't currently have pets of my own because I'm renting, I spend as much time with animals as I can by caring for my sister's dogs, my aunt's Labrador, and pets belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to provide long or short walks and drop-in visits. I love sending photo updates and keeping owners informed throughout every visit, including when I arrive, when I leave, and if I notice anything that should be communicated. I also welcome detailed care instructions because I want to make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent and comfortable as possible. Having cared for dogs with anxiety and PTSD, I understand the importance of patience, staying calm, and earning a pet's trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower, quieter approach, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away.

I understand how much trust it takes to invite someone into your home and care for a beloved family member, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll follow your instructions closely, respect your home, and make sure your pet receives attentive, dependable care every visit. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers a slow sniff around the neighborhood, or needs extra patience and reassurance, I'll tailor each visit to their individual needs. You'll also receive plenty of photos and updates, so you can relax knowing exactly how your pet is doing while you're away.

Chase absolutely loved having Aly stay with him! He’s a big fan of attention and long walks, and Aly was more than happy to keep him entertained. She made his overnight stay feel easy and comfortable, and I came home knowing he had been well taken care of. I’d happily have Aly watch Chase again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The sitter did an outstanding job taking care of my dog and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She kept me updated, took great care of my dog, and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. My dog was happy and well cared for when I got home. I highly recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable sitter. I will definitely be rebooking with her again!
Alyssa is very nurturing, detail oriented, and experienced pet caregiver. I can always rely on her to watch my fur babies when I’m in need of someone to help me. Not only is she amazing at communicating with me, my dogs also respond positively to her. They enjoy seeing her every time and are happy the entire time. Schedule
As a graduate student with two part-time jobs, spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to recharge during the week. Going for walks, getting outside, and giving pets my full attention is a refreshing break from studying and work, so pet care naturally fits into my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to walks and drop-in visits without feeling rushed. Whether it's a quick potty break, a long walk, or simply keeping your pet company, I make sure every visit gets my full attention. Caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to, and I love building relationships with both pets and their owners through dependable care, clear communication, and plenty of photo updates.
