Please read my profile in full before requesting! •My name is Alyssa (they/them). I'm 29 years old and I've lived in Charlotte my whole life - currently in Dilworth with my 13y/o rescue mix, Ru and my partner’s 3y/o kitty Jackson. •I've cared for animals at home all my life and as a career since high school! I have ~6 years of experience in the boarding/kennel industry and was an Animal Care Manager of a large boarding facility by the time I transitioned to in-home pet sitting only. I've been full time pet sitting / dog walking for ~7 years now and love being able to give my full attention to each individual client's pet(s) while I'm on the job! •Pet sitting is my primary job, so your pets will always be my priority and receive high quality care and lots of love while you're away. •I am experienced and comfortable working with pets with health, age-related, and behavioral (*see note below) concerns and am certified in Pet First Aid & CPCR. I’m a sucker for senior babies ❤️ •I offer free oral medication administration (via food or manual methods), but do not do injectable admin. Service Options: •General pet care duties (feeding, medicating, potty, etc. are always included within the visit length of any of the booking options). •"Drop In's" - Indoor only (cats) or fenced yard visits only. •"Dog Walking" - Any visit (travel sitting included) where any amount of leash walking is required. •"House Sitting" - Overnight stay in your home from ~9pm-8am. Includes bedtime potty break/brief walk and full length morning walk. Additional midday and evening visits can be booked separately. •Available visit lengths: 15m, 30m. Please request a specific quote if you're interested in booking alternate visit lengths. Visit Frequency Minimum: •2x/24hrs for dogs with potty access (pet door/pad). •3x/24hrs for dogs without potty access. •4x/24hrs for dogs that are crated when home alone. •1x/24hrs for cats. No "every other day" visits.

Safety, trust & environment
Your home security and your pets’ safety are of utmost importance to me! •I require a brief meet and greet before any services are provided to let your pet get familiar with me and talk details! There is a $10 M&G fee. •I do not walk dogs for more than ~10 minutes at a time or past potty/bm being done during extreme heat or cold (below 35, above 75), during extreme inclement weather, or past sundown/after dark. •I am happy to follow any “out of town” procedures like alternating window treatments and lights, retrieving mail and packages, etc. while you are away. •I do not ever bring anyone into clients' homes with me, nor share your personal info/address except for safety-based check ins and location sharing with trusted family. •I do not wear branded pet-sitter clothing and my car is not labeled in any way that obviously suggests I am a pet or house sitter/that you are away. •Apartment clients must provide a fob or direct access code/method (no phone calling thru callbox) for multi-visit days/bookings to ensure speedy access! I clock in upon arrival to your building (time spent on parking and access is included in visit length).

One word: thorough Alyssa was both intentional and detail oriented in taking care of my kitten Frodo, and her fact finding and getting to know how to intimately take care of pets put me at complete ease when I was on vacation. She was easy to reach if I had questions, spent meaningful time not only taking care of Frodo but also indulging him in play time and taking photos. I think that in today’s day and age a lot of people cut corners, Alyssa is certainly not one of those people. She is a master of her craft, and I could not recommend more

Schedule
Availability: •Service Area: Sedgefield, Dilworth, Freedom Park, Southend (~South Blvd x Morehead x Queens x Park x Marsh loop) •Service Hours: Visits start ~9am and end by ~8:30pm. Hours may vary with workload, so exact visit timing only guaranteed for pets with strict medication schedules. Expect arrival within ~30min range before/after specific times booked in app. •I am not an early riser - another sitter may be a better fit if your pet will need care any earlier than 8am other than overnight sitting bookings! •Current availability is for occasional travel sitting kitty drop-in’s only, but may consider regular care for repeat clients in the future.

- I do not discriminate based on breed, size, or age! I have a general checklist of information I need to have to provide the best experience possible, including but not limited to: •*Specific* feeding/medicating instructions - general times, exact amounts/doses, etc. •Behavioral info : training habits to maintain; any aggression in regards to food, toys, people, or animals; and protectiveness over the home. Pets with excessive behavioral concerns or poor leash manners may be subject to a per-visit special handling fee. •Health info : food allergies; medical concerns to be aware of keep an eye out for; medicating times, doses, and admin instructions; exercise level; and any special needs. •Preferred regular and emergency veterinarians. •Pet descriptions : if you have multiple pets, be sure to include a photo and separate profile for each. Any pet in the home MUST have a profile to be included in Rover’s liability guarantee, even if care is not needed. Pricing can be adjusted to remove extra charges for pets not being attended to during bookings.
