Hello! I’m Alyssa, a new Seattle resident originally from California. I’ve always loved taking care of animals, and from 2014 to 2017, I worked as a freelance pet sitter and dog walker to support myself through college in the SF Bay Area. During this time, I cared for many different types of pets including cats, chickens, livestock, reptiles, and dogs of all ages and medical requirements. Pit bulls, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and sassy Chihuahuas- even a family of six cats! I’ve always been the go-to person when friends needed someone to take care of their pets, which brought me to Rover!

I never open the front door without pets properly secured and leashes/harnesses on, and am familiar with walking dogs with leash, food, and dog-reactivity. I also have experience with pets who struggle with separation anxiety and am happy to work with you to ensure your baby’s utmost happiness and comfort!

Alyssa is fabulous! She took amazing care of my dog and left my home clean and tidy. My pup is usually shy around new people, but he warmed up to her quickly. Alyssa kept me updated with photos and messages every day, sometimes more than once a day. Communication with Alyssa was excellent from start to finish: from the initial contact and meet-and-greet to the actual stay and coordinating my return. I would definitely recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter.
