I’ve had hands-on experience caring for cats my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with their routines, personalities, and needs. In addition to cat care, I’ve walked neighbours’ dogs and I’ve also volunteered through the Elder Dog program, where I helped walk dogs for seniors. This has given me experience with pets of different temperaments and energy levels, and an understanding of the importance of gentle, consistent care. I take pride in being attentive, dependable, and respectful of each pet’s individual needs.

My dog Winston thoroughly enjoyed his weekend with Alyssa! We are very particular in making sure Winston is active every day and Alyssa would send daily pics of Winston on his walks on the Goose and near the ocean, which we appreciated so much. Alyssa was recommended to us by some friends and we’re happy we went with her! Thank you for being so attentive!
Alyssa took wonderful care of my two cats George and king Julien for a week. She gave them their multiple medications am and pm reliably :) And made sure they got their supplements for their meals, spent time playing with them, and sent regular photo updates while I was away. King Julien is very shy and came out immediately for her to play. She stayed overnight in my residence for the week and kept the place tidy and gav me peace of mind that my kitties got enough social time while i was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for excellent pet care.
Alyssa loves all animals especially cats. She is responsible, reliable and very trustworthy. She has been a volunteer dog walker for over a year for people who can’t do it. She ensures animals are looked after and treated well ( feeding and cleaning litter boxes). If she lived closer we would use her to care for our cat.

Schedule
I’m available for boarding on weekends, and I work from home on some days, which allows flexibility for pet care during the week. I’m also available most weekdays after 4:00 pm for walks, check-ins, or sitting.

I provide a calm, safe, quiet and pet-friendly environment in my home, with a large apartment and easy access to outdoor areas and walking trails.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy with a mix of outdoor adventures and playtime. We’ll enjoy walks along the Gorge and the Galloping Goose, play at the park or in a large open field, and spend time at home with lots of pets, cuddles, and fun with their favorite toys. I always tailor activities to each pet’s energy level and personality so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
