Since having my son in 2024 I am unable to provide overnight pet sitting, but I am available for dog walks or drop-ins for cats/dogs. I cannot commit to a daily walk or drop in right now but I am available on an as needed basis if you're out for the day and need your dog walked or maybe you're on vacation and need someone to come by and care for your pets a couple times a day.

Crate training, on/off furniture, leash length, food options, etc.) If you're currently training your dog on something just let me know the process and I will work on it with them too!

A typical day
I believe walking your dog should be both physically and mentally stimulating, so I love to let them sniff out the neighborhood while also getting some good kms in! I'm down to play with your pets favourite toys with them, whether it's fetch, tug or a feather on a string (my personal cats favourite 😊).

Pet care experience
*Back from maternity leave for drop-ins and dog walking only (no overnights available at this time)* **My pricing reflects a max distance of 15kms. I do service up to a 50km distance but beyond 15km I would charge .50¢ per km (only one way) in which I would adjust the booking price. Feel free to reach out for pricing if you believe you would be beyond the 15kms.** I have two wonderful pups, one of which is dog reactive and I still find ways to take her for walks and enjoy the outdoors safely! I have no issues taking on reactive dogs with guidance and knowledge on how your dog reacts. I have cared for puppies under a year old as well as senior dogs over 10 years old and will always make sure their needs are met in a safe and comfortable manner. I am comfortable with giving oral medication (pills or syringe) to both cats and dogs as well as injected medication with a consultation first. I have cared for deaf and semi blind dogs as well.

Alyssa did a wonderful job checking in on my two cats and I loved the photos she sent of them (one of them the other is very skittish and hid but she kindly left a couple of treats by his hiding spot 😀) I will definitely use her services again.
As always, Alyssa is a lifesaver! Winston and Wendy absolutely love her and she's super patient with them and accommodating with their needs!
