I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated.

I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or aggressive behavior. Will not accept aggressive behavior. Must get along with other dogs, adults, and children. Please let me know if your pet has any food allergies or certain dietary restrictions, as well as, any medications they are currently taking. Please bring your pet's bedding, cage, and bowls. Including, anything else that makes them feel comfortable and at home. Bring their food and treats, especially if they have dietary restrictions. I can clean and wash any of their items upon request if wanted and give them a bath before they go home. Will board and take care of puppies. Will make an exception for Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers to stay. Will not board cats/kittens. Would prefer a meet and greet before staying to make sure dogs get along and are comfortable staying here.
A typical day
Daily walks as needed. In the summer, we will go out early in the morning, and later in the evening when it's cool. There will be mentally stimulating games, indoor play, and maybe even learning a trick or two.

Every since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection.

Alyssa is awesome! She’s worked with rescue dogs since we were both children. We grew up together and I’ve only ever seen her be gentle and loving to all animals. I know she would love taking the time to care for more pets than just her own.
I’ve known Alyssa a long time and she’s always had a soft spot for animals! Always thoughtful and has a keen eye for anything amiss. She has a lot of experience with animals and knows how to treat them with care but also respect.
