I have had many professional and personal pet care experiences. I’ve had personal pets like dogs since I was 8. In college I worked as a vet tech and seasonally as a pet care associate at petsmart. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. I am also comfortable with cats, small animals (I’ve had rats and Guinea pigs personally) and reptiles. I currently have 3 cats, a leopard gecko, and a corn snake. I have also fostered dogs and worked on basic obedience with them to get them ready for furever homes. Let me know your needs and I’m sure I’ll be loving your babies like my own in no time!

I will ask the pet parent for specific details including basics like: feeding details, the pets triggers and behaviors that show they are uncomfortable, approved treats and favorite toys, how they like to play, sleeping details, emergency contacts and vet information, and any other details the pet parent finds relevant. All of these are used to provide the best care for the pet.

Alyssa was so great. We met beforehand just to make sure we got along and for her to meet my cats. She visited my house right around the time we discussed, and was very thorough in sending me a detailed synopsis of each visit. I especially loved the amount of photos she sent over of my cats!

After having a couple of bad experiences with pet sitters we took a chance and booked Alyssa for a 3 day trip out of town. She was great! Stayed in contact with us with check in’s and lots of pictures. Our 3 dogs are a high maintenance group that can wear you out and she was wonderful to them. We are so happy we have found someone we trust with our crazy little group.
Alyssa was very communicative with us and our cat loved her! She was on time with feedings and medications. She is clearly very responsible and good with animals. Would hire again!
I cannot say enough positive praise for how wonderful she was to my pup! Her updates kept me informed and I know she was well loved while I was traveling!

Full-time pet-sitting availability as and I am currently in school! I can walk or drop-in any time needed for you and your pet.

- I like to know if the pet has any triggers for anxious behaviors to be able to make them as comfortable as possible. I also like to know high-value treat items and training treat items they like, food allergies, and favorite toys. Additionally, cats sometimes have odd behaviors around drinking and eating—I like to know the quirks so I can make the transition of care as seamless as possible for them and provide you with peace of mind while you’re away!
