I have been a dedicated animal lover for as long as I can remember, beginning my journey at age twelve with a neighborhood dog-walking business. Having owned both dogs and cats for most of my life, I am comfortable with breeds of all sizes and temperaments. I recognize that every dog is unique; for instance, my own Boxer’s love for "tug" has certainly kept me on my toes and built my strength! While I am confident in my ability to bond with almost any animal, I prioritize transparency above all else. If I ever feel I am not the perfect match for your pet’s specific needs, I will communicate that immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog. Professional Availability & Approach: I have recently moved back to the Hickory area and am open to taking on new clients. I prefer to discuss your specific needs and expectations upfront to ensure we are a mutual fit for a successful partnership. My philosophy is that a walk should be much more than a bathroom break—it is a vital source of fresh air, exercise, and mental stimulation. Whether your dog loves playing with a favorite toy or requires consistency with basic command training, I am happy to integrate those needs into our time together. I look forward to meeting your pet and building a meaningful bond.

My approach to drop-in visits is centered on environmental continuity and specialized feline safety. Because I only provide care within the client’s home, I ensure your cat’s or dogs routine remains undisturbed while prioritizing the security of your property.

Ginger absolutely loved having Alyssa pop in and watch her. Very attentive from the initial meeting and through the whole process. Provided good updates and kept the cat happy and well cared for.
Very professional with written care plan and taking notes during meet & greet. Really appreciated the attention to detail. Brought a concern with one of the community cats to our concern and even asked is she needed to do anything. Really observant and present when she was on her visits with our guys. Absolutely recommend her as a caregiver.
Alyssa has been great working with Melo on his weekly visits. She is very attentive and listens to my requests with Melo. We love Alyssa and look forward to booking with her for our drop in visits!

Schedule
I work a full time job has a hair stylist . With availability only me knowing week to week. My schedule would work for cat care more than dog care. Cats having a flexible schedule.
