Reliable Pet Care
I’m a veterinary technician with 3 years of hands-on experience caring for animals in a clinical setting. I’m confident with all breeds, temperaments, and ages — from playful puppies to senior pets who need a gentler touch. My background includes administering medications, monitoring health, and handling pets safely and calmly in stressful situations. What sets me apart is my medical knowledge, patience, and genuine love for animals. I’m trained to read body language, recognize early signs of discomfort, and keep pets feeling safe and relaxed. Whether your fur baby needs extra attention, a slow-paced routine, or just someone who truly understands animals, I’ve got them covered.

Ratings and reviews
Alyssa was the best! I loved her updates with photos. We will definitely book her again. Deuce was well taken care of and loved on.

Alyssa was great to Coco, provided updates , sent photos and videos. Overall great experience.

I cannot recommend Alyson highly enough. When I had to unexpectedly extend my business trip, she handled my last-minute request seamlessly and even went above and beyond by picking up food for my dogs. I will absolutely be requesting her services again in the future.
Alyssa B. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Sent a lot of pics and was very flexible on pickup and drop off time! 100 percent would recommend

Alyssa was very sweet with Scout and took great care of her. She was very accommodating when I thought Scout had a medical issue the night before drop off. She works as a vet tech and is very kind and patient with dogs and I would definitely use her again!

Schedule
I work Tuesday–Friday from 8:30–6:30. I’m completely free on weekends and holidays, so I can give pets extra time and attention. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I always make sure every fur baby feels cared for and comfortable.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting your home, I provide structured, attentive care. I follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, medications, enrichment, and quiet time. I maintain a clean and safe space, monitor behavior and health closely, and always prioritize low-stress handling. My veterinary technician background helps me recognize early signs of discomfort and ensure your pet gets consistent, reliable care.
A typical day
I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality, age, and energy level. For dogs, that can include walks, fetch, practicing basic commands, enrichment games (like snuffle mats or treat puzzles), and plenty of playtime and cuddles. If they’re more low-key, we can relax together, brush out their coat, or enjoy calm time outside. For cats, I love using wand toys, laser pointers, treat puzzles, and interactive play to help them burn energy and stay mentally stimulated. I also make sure they get lots of affection—on their terms—and keep their environment clean, cozy, and stress-free. No matter the pet, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, entertained, and loved the entire time I’m with them.

- Before I care for your pet, it really helps to know: • Any medical conditions (allergies, past injuries, medications, seizures, sensitivities) • Feeding instructions (how much, how often, any restrictions, and favorite treats) • Potty routines (how often they go out, litter box habits, accidents, or triggers) • Behavioral notes (reactivity, fears, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or quirks) • Social preferences (how they do with strangers, kids, other animals, or new environments) • Energy level & activity needs (how long they enjoy playing or walking, what tires them out) • Commands they know (words or cues they respond to—sit, stay, leave it, etc.) • Any boundaries or rules (no couch, no high places, crating routines, special handling instructions) • Emergency contacts (vet info, preferred hospital, and how to reach you while you’re away)
