I currently work Monday- Friday 9-5:30 for The Department of Mental Health. I will be available for early morning, afternoon, or night walks. I can stop by for drop-ins or walks before or after work. But I can come for more on weekends. I am not available for boarding as I live in an apartment.

I have a German shepherd and a greyhound/ pitbull mix so I am used to high energy, large dogs that need lots of enrichment! I have also cared for my parent’s elderly dog for three years, so young or old I can help with your baby! For cats, I love playing with or just cuddling with kitties. I am also down to walk a cat if that is a part of your cat’s daily life!

Please tell me any and everything about your pet! It is not silly to have a lot of instructions! I want to know everything so that I am prepared and can better take care of your babies!
Ein typischer Tag
Typically when I sit or walk a dog the first thing that I do is introduce myself to them. I will make sure they are comfortable with me before trying to walk them or play with them. This may include giving them treats (approved by the owner), letting them smell me, and sitting in a space near them so that they get used to me being around. On a typical day with me we will have lots of play time as well as calm time and naps! I enjoy walking dogs around their own neighborhoods, downtown, or at the park if they are comfortable around people, other dogs, and noise. If approved by owner, I know a great spot downtown Prattville where dogs can walk in the shallow river. I also frequent the Prattville dog parks with my own dogs.

Alyssa was great with our girl! She checked in with me daily and responded quickly. We will definitely be sure to request her next time we go out of town again.
Alyssa did a great job! She was willing to watch my pup on very short notice, and followed instructions very well. I could tell my girl was crazy about her from the pictures. Ill definitely request her again in the future!
