I’ve known I would work with animals my whole life. I started dog sitting as a young teen and have continued to care for pets throughout my life. I’ve also spent over 7 years working in grooming shops, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My animal experience goes far beyond dogs — I’ve spent time around cats, horses, small barn animals, reptiles, fish, and more. I personally own a high-energy husky, and in the past, I’ve owned fish, a leopard gecko, and even ducks — so I’m comfortable with a wide range of care routines and species! I also have specific experience working with fearful and reactive dogs. I understand the patience and awareness it takes to help them feel safe and supported. I always move at the animal’s pace, using calm energy and positive reinforcement to build trust. While house sitting, I’m happy to attempt basic grooming tasks like nail trims or possibly haircuts, depending on the pet’s comfort level. My grooming background gives me the skills to approach these tasks gently and safely. I offer drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays in your home (I’m not able to host pets at mine). While I do work during the day, I make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care when I’m there.
