Your pet’s safety is very important to me. I am patient to provide care requested to your babies. I cater to individual animals and try to keep their normal routine as much as possible. I monitor each animal closely for any changes in behavior, and have my own vehicle in case of emergency. In case of emergency vet requirements, I will promptly notify you and their veterinarian, and take them to the emergency vet if after hours. I am more than happy do other household maintenance, such as checking the mail, bring in packages, water the plants, etc. Please note, I only accept physical keys on keychains. Thank you in advance! Please let me know if you do not have a keychain for your key; I can check availability for keychains I have on hand. If you will be leaving your key under the mat or in a lockbox, please leave a keychain for me to use inside. I request clients leave written information and instructions, which I double-check when working with pets. These instructions can be sent via Rover chat or text, a shared note (available on iPhone), or a note left out for me on the kitchen counter (for example). Please include precautions and household duties/ reminders in these instructions. I love walking and remain vigilant, allowing your pet ample time and space to roam safely. I keep dogs away from all other animals on walks for safety. I know how to use a harness. I can easily crate your dog or let outside in fenced area, if needed. I have worked carefully with elderly dogs in the past.

These could include running toward cars/ open front doors, aggression towards certain animals or people, areas the pet love/hate being pet, any oral medications. Please let me know if your animal has any phobias, such as bad weather, and associated behaviors, such as hiding or needing reassurance. I require all physical keys on a keychain, or leave one for me to attach inside. Please let me know in advance if you do not have a keychain for me to use, and I will reserve one of mine for you. I always try to find out their favorite toy during meet and greets, so I can be sure to always give them that toy first. I will give your animals lots of attention and love. I try to follow their normal routine as much as possible and will follow care instructions. I love to walk dogs near parks and areas with developed sidewalk systems and can play fetch with them in your backyard.

I had to leave my cat for a few days (for the first time) and was pretty nervous on who I could trust. Alyssa was super helpful in making sure my cat wasn't too lonely and taken care without me. She followed my instructions for each day and was never in a rush. I appreciate the daily updates and how well she was able to communicate with me before, during and after her booking. Would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone.
Alyssa took good care of our girls, and provided plenty of photos and updates along the way. As far as drop-in visits go, I couldn’t ask for more!
