I’ve always had animals in the house since a young age, and I love to walk in my free time. I love taking care of all animals: big or small dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. I will go above and beyond to fulfill all care instructions and keep the visit stress-free. My family always taught me to treat animals with upmost respect. I love to keep you updated with pictures of your pets! I love exercising and am a reliable walker. Friends and clients have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and provide companionship for their pets. Please contact me to discuss anything! Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety is very important to me. I am patient to provide care requested to your babies. I cater to individual animals and try to keep their normal routine as much as possible. I monitor each animal closely for any changes in behavior, and have my own vehicle in case of emergency. In case of emergency vet requirements, I will promptly notify you and their veterinarian, and take them to the emergency vet if after hours. I am more than happy do other household maintenance, such as checking the mail, bring in packages, water the plants, opening/closing the blinds etc. Please note, I will not answer the door to any knocking or doorbells, unless explicitly requested by you in writing for my safety and for the safety of your home. Please let me know in advance in writing if I will need to let someone else into the home, or if my presence is requested to facilitate any of your regular housekeeping / backyard appointments. Please note, I only accept physical keys on keychains. Thank you in advance! Please let me know if you do not have a keychain for your key; I can check availability for keychains I have on hand. If you will be leaving your key under the mat or in a lockbox, please leave a keychain for me to use inside. Please let me know in advance if someone else will be sharing the key with me while you are away (e.g. your daughter, someone dropping by to clean). Please note, it is my general policy to take physical keys with me after the first visit for the safety of your home; if you request I leave the key I will be using at the home at all times, you will need to give me advance written notice, and please note I am not liable for any loss of property that may occur as a result of the key being left outside the home at all times. I am happy to comply with written requests (given in advance) to leave the key at the home at all times, though I do not recommend leaving the key this way for safety reasons. I request clients leave written information and instructions, which I double-check when working with pets. These instructions can be sent via Rover chat or text, a shared note (available on iPhone), or a note left out for me on the kitchen counter (for example). Please include precautions and household duties/ reminders in these instructions. Please include visitor parking information, as needed, and double check with your apartment complex what parking guidelines I will need to follow. I love walking and remain vigilant, allowing your pet ample time and space to roam safely. I keep dogs away from all other animals on walks for safety. I know how to use a harness. I can easily crate your dog or let outside in fenced area, if needed. I have worked carefully with elderly dogs in the past.

Alyssa was amazing Oso and Junior enjoyed walking and being loved on while we were gone And she did great with Charlie ( the hiding cat) She made sure and made him feel comfortable to come out and know how much she cared
Alyssa did an amazing job of taking care of both our dogs and our house for an extended 3 week trip. It made our vacation so much more relaxing knowing that someone was taking care of our dogs the same way we would.
Alyssa was wonderful to work with - responsive, flexible, and thorough. She took such great care of our kitty and he looked very well-loved when we returned. We appreciated her pictures and comments on his daily rover cards and that she put so much effort into ensuring he got all the attention he wanted. I highly recommend Alyssa!

Schedule
I can work around any appointments! I love to get out and about in the morning on walks, afternoon, and evening. My schedule is pretty flexible. I can accommodate travel issues, such as delayed flights or car issues.
