I grew up with cats, and am very comfortable working with all temperaments! Most recently was pet-sitting all summer for a rescue cat of a friend that needed a lot of comfort and stability. I'm also a huge dog-lover! I've dog-sat for friends, neighbours and family for years. Looked after very senior dogs, including ones with difficult personalities (rescue dogs, anxious german shepards, etc). As well as younger dogs and puppies. I have cared for dogs that require medication, cones and special attention (bandages, wound care, etc). I am also trained in animal care from research training in biomedical sciences and have worked alongside Vets for proper animal care and safety. I have a flexible work schedule, working from home and also have a car. I am able to schedule walks in easily and also overnight stays.

I have a fenced yard and live in spacious home with room for pets of all sizes to roam. I've cared for friends cats and dogs in the home, and it is very pet-friendly. When pet-sitting at others' homes, I am very cautious and clean, as well as respectful of your environment and privacy.

Alyssa is a passionate animal lover who is very responsible, caring and generous. You can rest assured she will take very good care of your pet. Alyssa has looked after many pets over the years, so she has a lot of experience which can come in handy. She's always so excited every time she gets to meet a new animal and really takes her time getting to know them and putting them at ease.
We regularly book Alyssa to pup sit our dog Nala while we're out of town, and she does an excellent job! She takes Nala to her favourite park, gives her plenty of fetch time and cuddles. She pays special attention and care and sends us update pictures and videos daily. Nala loves to go to Alyssa's. I would highly recommend booking Alyssa as your next pet sitter! 10/10
Alyssa is amazing! She takes such good care of my dog and is very reliable. My dog is 15 and is quirky with other pups but he’s always happy to see Alyssa! Would absolutely recommend her to take care of your pup :)
I can't recommend Alyssa highly enough as a dog sitter! I have a German Shepherd who can be quite reactive, and Alyssa has been fantastic in managing her needs with patience and expertise. Not only does she walk and feed her on a schedule, but she also treats her with love and kindness, making sure she feels comfortable and secure. I always come home to a well-cared-for dog and a tidy apartment, which gives me great peace of mind when I'm out of town. Alyssa is truly reliable and dedicated – I highly recommend her to anyone needing an exceptional dog sitter!

Schedule
Currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I have a car and am able to travel if needed. I am able to walk dogs during the day and also pet-sit over night if needed, weekdays or weekends.
