As a wildlife biologist and veterinary student, animals are quite literally my life. I have extensive pet sitting, handling and animal medical training. I can handle large dogs and bully breeds very well!

Alyson was a great communicator and made us feel comfortable with our sweet, yet big dog being around a stranger. This was the first time we left our dog in the care of a sitter and I can now put my mind at ease that we can continue to do this with a solid, responsible sitter as Alyson sent many pictures and updated us often. Our smoke alarm batteries died, our dog had an ear problem and our cats were being crazy and she let us know promptly about all of that. I know our dog loved going on walks with her and was able to play and be herself!
Alyson was amazing! She was so kind and her communication was great. My dog was happy with her and I know she treated him like her own. I look forward to booking her again!

Schedule
My schedule varies a bit as I book up quickly. However, I am still happy to provide daily walks. I am happy to give daily/weekly availability for housesitting. I primarily work/study from home, so I will spend most of my day with your pup or kitten.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home: I treat every home with respect and care. My first priority is your pet and my second is your home. I will always leave it cleaner then I found it and will care for your home better than I care for my own. I will always ask for a list of rules/expectations that you need and will follow them 100%. Trust is my primary concern. In my home: I have a fenced yard with doggy door access. My home belongs to my animals and thus they are allowed on all furniture and couches (unless you would like otherwise). I have a dog bed in every room and plenty of toys! While I am happy to walk or stay in your home with reactive dogs. I unfortunately will not have dogs with aggression in my home. Due to my dog Holly’s elderly age I will not risk her safety. Thank you for understanding.
A typical day
I am happy to walk, play, hike, or swim with your pups! I cater to your dogs needs, whether thats sitting at the park and people watching or going on a hike to really get their energy out!

- I have worked several years in a veterinary clinic and can handle many challenges. Please inform me of any allergies, mediation, food restrictions/needs, and potty or behavioral issues. I am happy to walk and work with dog reactive pets, however, I just need to know ahead of time.
