Pet care experience

Hey! I have been caring for animals professionally for over 10 years; in and out of animal hospitals, training facilities, boarding kennels, and farms I have worked as an Animal Care/Kennel Attendant at veterinary hospitals and kennels for 10 years. I have been training and competing with my personal dogs in; rally, scentwork, ratting sports, and drive sports for the past 5 years. I am able to handle elderly dogs who need assistance going up and down stairs, as well as dogs with behavioural issues (food aggression, intact males, issues with other dogs, etc.). I am able to give subcutaneous injections for insulin & measuring blood sugar levels. I am also happy to give daily updates on your pet(s), and care for any other additional pets as well. I run structured pack walks on the weekends throughout cambridge through my facebook page Galt Pack Walks. Reach out to me today for walking availability & rates.

Alysha is passionate about animals, their care, nutrition, and training - and it shows. She takes her time listen to your concerns and to observe your pet, then provides sound advice and directions for behavioral correction and training. Extremely knowledgeable and caring. Our lab Lacey loves Alysha's energy and positive reinforcement, and looks forward to her walks.

I have watched Aly embrace a true love for animals from a young age. Primarily dogs and cats both at home and in work environments. Secondary to life with horses and showing at the Royal Winter Fair Her dedication to dog training has heightened in the last few years. A skilled, competent and dependable human always placing the animals requirements as a priority.

Aly, has always had the ability to connect with animals on a higher level them most humans, regardless if it is a pet or stray or animal not known to her. There is mystical bond that develops that the animals she encounters become calm and have a immediate trust for her that they feel safe. I have witness her handle an array of animals from horses that others feared, to stray cats and dogs even a dominating alpha male that is reactive to other humans became puddy and lap dog in Aly's care. Once that bond is established a trusting relationship between Aly and the animal evolves making it a safer environment for others. Aly has a vast knowledge of animal husbandry from years of working along side vets and caring and rehabilitating a variety of animals form a off track thoroughbreds or horse for auctions, a injured owl, orphaned raccoon. to assisting in the birthing a few litter of puppies. Aly would be perfect for taking care of pets as she has many years of experiencing to do so for so many.
