I’m a mom of two wonderful kids (14 and 11) and a lifelong dog lover. Animals have always been a huge part of our home and our hearts. My kids are absolutely obsessed with dogs. They grew up with ours and were with them from the time they were born. Over the last few years, we had to say goodbye to both of our pups, and while we’re not quite ready for another full-time dog, we would truly love to love on yours. We’ve fostered dogs and dog-sat for friends and family, so we’re comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Your dog won’t just be “watched” here, they’ll be treated like they’re ours. Lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and being part of the family. I’m patient, dependable, and really good at picking up on a dog’s personality whether they’re high-energy, shy, goofy, or need a little extra reassurance. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously. Communication is important to me, so you’ll always get regular updates and photos while you’re away. From dog walking and drop-ins to overnight stays and boarding, I can do it all. What sets us apart is that this isn’t just a job for us. It’s something we genuinely enjoy. We don’t currently have any pets, so your pup gets our full attention and is truly part of our home while they’re here. My goal is simple: a happy, loved pup and total peace of mind for you.

Alysha was absolutely amazing! Lady had the best time and was completely spoiled. She got to go swimming and even sleep in the bed, which she loved. When I had an unexpected emergency, Alysha was incredibly accommodating and able to watch Lady for an extra day. She even went the extra mile and picked up additional supplies for Lady when they ran out. I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave Lady. I would absolutely recommend Alysha and her kids to anyone looking for someone to treat their pup like family.

Schedule
I recently wrapped up a long-term teaching position and currently work part-time in photography and hair, which gives me a flexible schedule. My days are typically open for walks, drop-ins, and boarding needs, and I’m able to build my routine around the pets in my care. Even as my schedule evolves, I’m intentional about only accepting bookings I can fully commit to. I don’t overbook, and I make sure every pet receives consistent attention and care while they’re with me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy, not just something I squeeze in.

Safety, trust & environment
When pets stay in our home, they’re treated like part of the family. We follow your feeding schedule, walk routine, and any specific instructions so your dog feels comfortable and at ease. There’s always plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime depending on their personality and energy level. Dogs are welcome on the couch and even in our bed if that’s what they’re used to and you’re comfortable with it. We never crate-trained our own dogs, but I’m absolutely happy to crate if that’s part of your dog’s normal routine. I want them to feel safe and cared for in whatever way they’re accustomed to. Our backyard is turf and pavers, fully fenced, with a gated section that keeps dogs safely separated from the pool area. Outdoor time is always supervised, and dogs are let out regularly throughout the day for potty breaks and fresh air. Walks and playtime are built into the day based on your pup’s needs. Overall, my goal is to create a calm, loving environment where your dog feels secure, comfortable, and truly at home.
A typical day
When I pet sit, I love spending quality time with the dogs and tailoring activities to their personality and energy level. I especially enjoy taking them on walks, getting outside for fresh air, and exploring the neighborhood together. If the dog enjoys being active, we can go to the park to play fetch with a tennis ball or frisbee, or visit a dog park so they can run and socialize. For dogs that prefer a calmer pace, I’m also happy to relax with them, give them attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to keep them happy, engaged, and safe while you’re away.
