Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a special bond with animals. I grew up caring for two Yorkies who were my whole world - I helped raise them from playful puppies to their senior years, giving them all the love, care, and comfort they needed as they aged. I now have a Maltese Poodle named Maddie! She loves to people watch and eat bananas 😋 I’ve also cared for animals like cats, fish, and even birds, I am currently a student at University of Toronto, on my way to become a Veterinarian. Animals naturally cling to me, and I truly believe they sense how much I love and understand them. I treat every pet like family and always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

When caring for pets - whether in my home or yours -safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel secure and at ease. I always follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions exactly as given. In your home, I make sure to respect your space and maintain a calm, clean environment that your pet is familiar with. If your pet is with me, they’ll have a safe, pet-friendly space to relax, play, and receive all the love and attention they need. I’m very mindful of things like open doors, secure leashes, and keeping harmful items out of reach. Whether your pet needs quiet companionship or active play, I’m there to create a safe, loving environment they can thrive in.

Alysa is a fantastic pet caregiver—definitely a 5-star experience! She took amazing care of my cat and my grandma’s dog while we were away. She was patient, gentle, and super attentive to their needs. My cat can be shy, but he warmed up to her right away, and my grandma’s dog absolutely adored her. Alysa sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again or recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving pet sitter!
Alysa has cared for animals since she was a little girl. Her love and admiration for them is definitely something that grows stronger with every interaction. She has a lot of patience and is very thoughtful when caring for any type of pet. Alysa has helped to take care of my fur babies for over 17 years and I trust her completely to care for them always.
Alysa is amazing with my dog Bentley, a very energetic 2-year-old Bernedoodle. She’s patient, loving, and always makes sure he’s happy and tired out (which is no small feat!). I trust her completely with him.. she treats him like her own. Bentley lights up when he sees her. I wish I could post the dozens of videos I have of them together. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I’m available any day of the week and can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs - whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening cuddle time. As a student and aspiring veterinarian, caring for animals is a big part of my life already, and I make sure every pet I care for gets my full attention, love, and consistency.

- Before caring for any pet, I always like to know a few important things to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. This includes their daily routine, favorite activities or toys, any allergies or medical conditions, and how they react to new people or other animals. I also like to know if they have any fears or triggers (like loud noises or separation anxiety), their potty routine, and if they’re on any medications or special diets. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide personalized, loving care that matches what they’re used to at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities!
