I have owned or lived with dogs, cats, fish, and chickens my whole life. I recently adopted a sweet kitty of my own! Previously I have lived and cared for up to 2 dogs and 3 cats in one house when my housemates have been out of town. I have a pet chicken (12yo) back home (plus the rest of her flock) and two family dogs. I currently live alone with my Penny kitty and a spoiled Betta fish to care for. I love all my pet friends and would love to go for morning, afternoon, and evening walks or spend a few hours socializing and playing with dogs and cats alike. I can also do check ins for long term fish and chicken care for tank cleaning or egg collecting/coop cleaning needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I can stay as long or as little as needed in your home for your pets needs. I will return to my place for an hour or two of each day to feed and care for my kitty and my betta fish. I have a large SUV that I can transport any animal in harnesses or crate/cage as needed. I have experience taking animals to the vet and making sure they are safely secured for visits to farther distance dog parks/walking trails/etc.

Alysa was great with our cat babies, she was super patient with our shy boy and our little girl warmed up to her right away. It was really comforting knowing the cats weren’t spending their whole day alone.
If you’re reading this and have anxious cats- book Alysa!!! She is so gentle and kind with our anxious cats. Within a few days they were following her around the house. Such an amazing house sitter!
Alysa has been a wonderful and reliable house sitter for our rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointer. She has house sit for us about 5 times now and I feel totally comfortable leaving him with her! She sends plenty of updates and takes great care of him.
A+! Thank you Alysa! Alysa housesat our 2 cats while we were out of town for a week. She shared so many fun pics and the cats were so happy upon our return. The house was in perfect shape. Will definitely book her again.
Alysa was absolutely amazing!! She did such a good job with my girl Lou, who's a total sweetheart but a handful as a 1 year old German Shepherd mix puppy. Alysa sent a lot of updates and it was clear Lou was in the best hands, getting a ton of attention, and burning off all of her energy. Lou loved her. We'll definitely be booking Alysa again!
Alysa was absolutely fantastic! It was our first time leaving in quite some time and we felt so comfortable after meeting Alysa and seeing how everyone got along. Our house was in pristine condition, which was a bonus coming back from a trip as well! She was communicative all week and our doggos were happy campers :)

Schedule
I am a graduate PhD student at UW and have few strict time commitments. Occasionally I will have quarters I teach and numerous meetings throughout the week but I can often adapt my schedule to my needs.
