Reliable Grad Student Pet Care
I grew up surrounded by dogs, including a boxer, French bulldog, and English bulldog, and I currently share my home with a cat. Over the years I’ve cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes—sometimes up to three dogs or four cats at once. My experience includes puppies, kittens, senior pets, and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable with all aspects of daily care, from feeding and walks to playtime, grooming, and administering medication (including injections). I also have experience with crate training and leash manners, and I enjoy taking pets on long walks to keep them happy and active. My care style is calm and gentle, with a focus on building trust and making pets feel safe. As a responsible and organized grad student, I take pride in being reliable and treating every pet as if they were my own.

I have experience with rescues, senior animals, and animals with special needs. Whatever your pet's typical routine entails, I will make sure to stick to it! I know it can be distressing for pets to not have their parents home so my goal is to make sure they feel safe and comfortable until you come back!

Ally was great! Teddy can definitely be a handful at times, but she managed well by looking after him. Jack usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but with Ally, he opened up so quickly it felt like they had known each other forever. Ally is reliable and trustworthy which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. On top of that, she tidied up around the house and even offered to help with more before she left. I would highly recommend Ally to any and all pet owners.
Alycia did a great job with Betty. House was taken great care of and she even helped with a couple chores that needed complete. Will use again and recommend!

Alycia is absolutely amazing! She took care of our golden retriever, Bonnie, and house-sat for us for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a more responsible or caring sitter. Bonnie absolutely adored her — it was clear she felt loved and well taken care of the entire time. Alycia made sure Bonnie got her daily walks and playtime, and she kept us updated with sweet pictures and messages so we could relax while we were away. Our home was spotless when we returned, and Bonnie was happy and calm. Alycia is our go-to dog sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough!
I think my dogs love Ally more than me, lol! She has been a long-time dog walker and dog-sitter for my dogs, and boy, are they pooped by the time I get home! If you have the opportunity to have Ally as your dog sitter, then your pup is in the best hands! The only issue is that your dog(s) may end up loving her more than you! Haha! Ally is my #1 choice for dog sitters/dog-walkers in Houston, Texas!

Zeitplan
I am currently a full time graduate student and only have classes in the evening so my schedule is very flexible! The rest of my time is spent studying, which I am able to do from anywhere.
