Hello, my name is Alyana. Originally from Santa Barbara. Spending my time with my goats, horses, snakes, birds, chickens, dogs, cats etc. is how I always started my morning!! I would find my happiness by being with all the animals and sharing that love/attention that we all crave for. I currently am a cat sitter/dog walker in Brooklyn. I am certified in cat and dog first aid so your fur babies are in very safe hands! Animals have been my best friends forever. Doggies that are new and get easily spooked, are my favorite because not only will I say “it’s okay” to reassure your pup, I also will comfort them physically and emotionally. I’m very patient and sharp on being on the look out for loud noises or scary things that will upset your doggo. Cats, I understand 100% and am comfortable trimming their nails, giving medication, or simply just being there for them because I know some can be moody and prefer their own space. Please be advised that I have a Sphynx cat who is friendly with cats and dogs. If I board your furry baby, I expect them to be okay with cats. Alyana was an amazing sitter for our two cats! I was nervous leaving my kitten and cat for an extended time but she was fantastic and kept us posted with lots of updates and photos. Will definitely be hiring her again!

Alyana did such an amazing job house sitting / cat sitting for my 2 sphynx boys who require a little more care than your typical cat. She was attentive, asked all the right questions, sent plenty of updates, and most importantly showered them with love as if they were her own. As a bonus- she also left our apartment tidy & was such a respectful guest. I would gladly hire her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible pet sitter.

Schedule
Every day I’m surrounded by cats and dogs! I can’t be happier. Animals are incredible and have made my life so much better and in many ways have made me an empath.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m mindful of closing cabinets and anything that I touch. When I stay or do drop ins, I make sure to leave the home the way the owner had left it, maybe sometimes much cleaner because I enjoy being tidy. I vacuum my home daily, dishwasher is always running because I love to cook and I make sure to hang up any clothes otherwise they just pile up (that’s a trick I learned recently and it’s helpful because my adhd isn’t my bestfriend).
Pets
A typical day
I live across from a playground/elementary school! So we would go across the street to play ball or to just sniff around. Grab a chai latte down the block and maybe hit Herbert Von king park since it’s close to me :) Depending on the weather, I’d wipe your pup down then we would grab a snack. Definitely play some more after the snack then calm down with some tv and a cozy large couch for them to cuddle with me on. After, we would go on few more walks, have dinner then snoooze away in bed together! Animals are allowed on all my furnitures :)
