I have lots of previous experience walking and taking care of dogs. Over the past ten years, I have taken care of over 50 dogs. When family or friends go on vacation, their pets stay at my house. As a result, I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, from large huskies to tiny yorkies. All this experience motivated me to get my First Aid and CPR certification for canines. I want to make sure that any dog will be safe with me in the case of an emergency. In the past, I fostered a dog rescued from Mexico and trained him to walk on a leash, in addition to housetraining and learning tricks. I also take my neighbour's dog, a large Bernese puppy with lots of energy, for walks. I have worked with her to train her to stop jumping on people when she sees them. I am also a volunteer with Elderdog Vancouver where I assist elderly owners with walking and caring for their dogs. Unfortunately, because I am in school at the moment, I cannot have a dog of my own. However, I adore dogs and would love to spend time with dogs in any way I can. When your dog is in my care, rest assured that I will take care of them to the best of my ability. I will make sure that they are given their proper meals and needed medications. I am a very active person and will ensure that your dog gets all the exercise they need. Most importantly, dogs are part of the family, and I will keep your family safe.
