Your dog will be cared for in a calm, dog-friendly home where they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I currently work from home, so I’m around most of the time and able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. My home was intentionally designed with dogs in mind. The floors are durable concrete so pups can play comfortably, and many of the windows sit low so they can watch the world go by. There is also a large fenced outdoor area where dogs can safely explore and spend time outside. My two beagles, Daphne and Rosie, are part of the family and help visiting dogs feel welcome. I focus on maintaining a relaxed, structured environment so dogs feel comfortable and settle in quickly. Weather permitting, I take dogs on daily walks, and there is always plenty of playtime, attention, and belly rubs. Dogs can sleep wherever they are most comfortable, whether that’s in their own crate, a dog bed, or another cozy spot in the house. There are plenty of dog beds throughout. Communication is important to me, so I send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard and two friendly beagles, Daphne and Rosie, who enjoy meeting other dogs. They love to play but also know how to relax, which helps visiting dogs settle in comfortably. Dogs in my home are treated like part of the family. I introduce dogs slowly and supervise interactions to make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe. I focus on creating a calm, structured environment where they can play, explore the yard, go on walks, and relax inside the house. I truly love dogs and care for them the same way I care for my own. I make sure they receive the attention, patience, affection, and care I would expect for Daphne and Rosie. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so communication is important to me. I’m happy to send photo and message updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you’re away. I host a small number of dogs at a time so each pup receives plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax.

A typical day

A typical day includes plenty of activity, attention, and downtime so dogs feel comfortable and engaged. I usually start the day with outdoor time in the yard followed by a walk (weather permitting). Throughout the day there is time for play, exploration, and relaxing inside the house. I enjoy staying active with the dogs and typically go on multiple walks each day when weather allows. Dogs also get plenty of playtime in the fenced yard where we play games like fetch or practice tricks. My two beagles, Daphne and Rosie, enjoy playing with visiting dogs and often help make them feel comfortable and included. They’re playful but also good at settling down, which helps create a balanced environment for dogs who stay here. I maintain regular meal times in my home but am always happy to adjust to your dog’s normal feeding schedule so their routine stays consistent. At bedtime, Daphne and Rosie typically sleep with me. Visiting dogs can sleep wherever they are most comfortable, whether that’s their crate, a dog bed, with us, or another cozy spot in the house. I also adapt each day to your dog’s personality, energy level, and routine so they feel happy, comfortable, and right at home.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who works from home and offers a calm, safe place for dogs to stay while their owners are away. With a fenced yard, daily walks, and two friendly beagles, visiting pups get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I focus on creating a relaxed environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. I also send regular photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you’re away. I’ve cared for dogs most of my life and have experience with all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace and a little extra care. I’m comfortable administering medications and adjusting routines for dogs with health or mobility needs. My two beagles, Daphne and Rosie, are a big part of my daily life and have taught me how different every dog’s personality can be. I take the time to help visiting dogs feel safe, comfortable, and understood in a new environment. I provide boarding in my home and focus on creating a calm, structured place where dogs can relax while their owners are away. I pay close attention to routines, exercise needs, and individual personalities, whether that means playtime, walks, or just a cozy place to settle in. For first-time stays, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet so everyone feels comfortable and it’s a great fit for your dog.

Aly did such a great job with my two dogs. This is the first time they were left with someone other than family. She was great with communications and photos. I was nervous about leaving them for a week while on vacation out of state. I think both of them had a great time. We will definitely use her in the future.
