While I am not home during standard business hours on weekdays, I make sure every dog in my care receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection before and after work. My day starts with a morning potty break followed by breakfast (for pups who eat twice a day). Before leaving for work, I ensure your dog is comfortable and settled in for the day. Once I’m home, the focus is entirely on them. Evenings include another potty break, dinner, playtime, and a walk around the neighborhood. I believe regular exercise and outdoor time are essential for a dog’s well-being, so I make it a priority to provide opportunities for physical activity and mental stimulation. On weekends and days off, I can offer additional walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs on and off for more than 10 years, helping family, friends, and neighbors whenever they need a reliable extra hand. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for walks, as well as a large fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for playtime and exercise. I’m also close to several scenic walking trails and dog parks, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and enrichment. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I regularly spend time with my brother and sister-in-law’s dogs when they visit. This has given me experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I also have a designated space available for a crate if your dog uses one, helping them feel secure and at home during their stay. Please note that I work in the office Monday through Friday and am not home during standard business hours. If your dog requires constant supervision or cannot comfortably be left alone during the workday, I may not be the best fit. However, for independent dogs who are comfortable with a typical work schedule, I’m happy to provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention before and after work.

Alvin did an awesome job taking care of my boy Oscar. He allowed me to have a meet and greet for him and Oscar prior to the booking. Oscar warmed up to him fairly quick and that’s not his normal. I felt it was a match from there. Alvin did a great job in communicating with me throughout Oscar’s day. I definitely plan on using him again for future bookings. EC

Alvin did an amazing job. He was very attentive to Chonk’s needs and had lots of room to allow an energetic dog to run around in. Alvin even had all of Chonk’s stuff ready by the time I got there and even helped load the car. 5 star sitter :)
