As Alvaro’s wife, I may be slightly biased… but honestly, animals have always loved him. Our home has never really been just “people.” Over the years, we’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and the occasional situation where one of the kids says, “Can we keep it?” and somehow Alvaro, "Alex" ends up caring for it too. He’s the calm, patient type that animals naturally trust. He’s the guy sitting on the floor making friends with the nervous dog at a party while everyone else is eating snacks. He pays attention to routines, little behavior changes, and all the details pet owners worry about. Whether a pet needs playtime, exercise, cuddles, or just someone steady and reliable while their family is away, Alex shows up for them completely. Our kids have grown up learning how to care for animals by watching him. Loving pets and treating them like family has always been normal in our house. Most importantly, he’s trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely enjoys being around animals. I would never hesitate to trust him with our own pets, and I know other families will feel comfortable leaving their furry family members in his care, too.
