I’ve been pet sitting for about 6 years and have pretty much grown up around animals. I’ve cared for dogs, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, birds, chickens, and even a turtle, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets and different personalities. I’ve also had hands-on animal care experience through an internship and volunteer work at a wildlife rehabilitation center. I know every pet has their own routine and little quirks, so I always try to stick as closely as possible to whatever they’re used to at home. I’m comfortable with things like oral medications, special feeding routines, playtime, walks, and just hanging out with pets who need some extra company while their person is away.

Safety, trust & environment
I try to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable while you’re away. I pay attention to their body language and personality, especially during the first few visits, and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I’m also careful to follow any instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, or anything else they may need.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, so pet care fits well into my schedule. I like having the flexibility to spend time caring for pets. My availability can vary week to week, but I’ll always make sure we’re on the same page about scheduling ahead of time.
