Loving Dog Mom of 25 Years
With over 25 years of experience, I care for every dog as if they were my own. My journey began with a rescued golden retriever and grew into years of showing champion Shih Tzus, running a pet hotel and grooming salon, and raising 14 beloved dogs. I’ve also adopted cats and fostered abandoned dogs in the Philippines, giving each one a second chance at a happy life. I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, having lovingly supported my own into their golden years—some lived to 18 and 19. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs special care, I bring patience, love, and a lifetime of experience to every visit.

Alma is amazing. She is provided timely communication with photos. We told her that our puppy isn’t used to sleeping alone in a room and she went above and beyond to accommodate Radha in her room. She understands puppy mind and works around that. We will definitely recommend Alma for caring for your dog.
Alma was great! Sent lots of pics and videos and even gave both of the doggies a bath before I came to pick them up. They had a great time at Alma's, would definitely recommend!

During Cookie's stay, she took extra care to go above and beyond my expectations, which I greatly appreciated. It was also such a thoughtful gesture to send Cookie home with the blanket she had grown attached to. Alma Theresa was consistently reliable with feeding, walks, and administering medication right on schedule. What stood out most was her communication starting with a thorough pre-boarding visit at her home, and continuing with regular updates and photos while we were away. That level of transparency and care made a big difference and gave me complete peace of mind. I have full trust in Alma Theresa and would absolutely board with her again. Highly recommend!

Alma is incredibly kind and attentive to our dogs. She understands their needs and enjoys their different personalities. We also appreciate all her timely communication and photo updates. It gave us a lot of peace to know our dogs are having fun and being cared for while we traveled.

Schedule
Dogs have always been a central part of my life, and caring for pets through Rover allows me to share my love and experience while helping pet parents. I work from home in a tech company and spend most of my day on my laptop, with my workspace set up so the dogs I sit can always be nearby. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks every 2–4 hours, and at night or during feeding times I keep them comfortable in their pen or crate. The rest of the time, they’re free to walk, play, and keep me company. I also enjoy taking them on 15–30 minute walks, and since I live near a park, it’s easy to add fun outdoor time into their routine. Including pet care in my day brings me joy and purpose—whether it’s through walks, playtime, or simply spending time together.

I closely follow all client instructions and take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and preferences. Whether it's administering medication, maintaining feeding schedules, or providing comfort and play, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for in their home environment.

For more active dogs, daily walks and play time. For more senior dogs, massages and gentle activities; and for puppies interactive games and more fun time.
