I’m an animal caregiver happy to care for your fur baby. I have experience with large dog breeds, high energy, senior care, nursing kittens, and even farm animal care. Growing up, I had animal companions (small and medium dogs, geckos) and valued the responsibilities of feeding, walking, and playtime.

I employ a gentle approach to animals, keeping in mind that their family is away, the routine is different, and I am not a usual guest in their space. I anticipate mysteries that may trigger an animal to have anxiety by asking about existing stressors, and pay attention to their body language. I am familiar with large breeds and have experience redirecting aggression into playtime.

Ally has been an amazing friend to my cat while I'm away. She's attentive to his needs as well as mine in needing daily updates. Ally is also very thoughtful in her communication and commitment.
Ally is one of the most loving, caring, nurturing, responsible, beautiful humans our family has ever been blessed to know. She has cared for our crew (multiple dogs, cats and ducks) on many occasions. Happy and competent to administer pet meds as needed, and she's great about sending a pic now and then, letting us know that all is well. Our trips have ranged from a few days to 2+ weeks. She loves our animals and they love her. We could not sing Ally's praises loudly enough. She's also great with plants. Bonus!! :-) Give Ally a try. You'll be so glad you did.

Schedule
I live with a cat companion, so pet care is a daily feature in my life already. From morning and evening feedings to playtime and/or a good walk, I make time for all aspects of living with and loving animals. My availability allows for attentive care over a long weekend and recurring check-ins.

- While a little anxiety from your pet is to be expected, please let me know of any triggers that may cause your pet stress. I love to know about pets' comfort items and places to help make the experience better for all. An unexpected thunderstorm or loud noise don't need to derail playtime, so long as I can find the security blanket, thunder shirt, or phrases to reassure them.
