Hi there! My name is Ally (they/them) and I am an experienced doggy day care employee and groomer-in-training looking for flexible pet care opportunities while finishing up school. In addition to having cared for pets most of my life, I have extensive professional experience caring for, mediating behavior of, feeding, and administering medications to up to 100 or more dogs at a time! I would be more than happy to train your puppy, show your senior pet some love and comfort, or spend some quality with your kitty! While my work experience is primarily with dogs, I love pets of all kinds, and would be so excited to care for any pet, no matter how “unusual” (snakes, lizards, spiders, insects, rodents, birds, etc.) I look forward to getting to know you and your pets!

How I plan on caring for your pet is primarily determined by client instruction. I will do my best to care for your baby the same way you would! I prefer to use positive reinforcement for training or behavior modification, and I like to keep feeding and medication schedules quite consistent. I also really enjoy sending lots of photo check ins! I feel most comfortable when you and your pets feel most comfortable, and it’s incredibly important to me to establish a relationship built on mutual trust. To me, your home is a workplace environment, and will be treated with the same respect.

Truly Exceptional Care! I cannot recommend Ally enough! She took amazing care of my mini dachshund, Ponyo, during his boarding stay. She went above and beyond—bringing him along to social outings with friends and even to her study sessions, which Ponyo absolutely loved and truly appreciated. Not only was Ally amazing, but her roommates also pitched in with his care, giving him extra company, attention, and affection. Ponyo thrives around people, and their home truly felt like a loving and caring environment for any dog. Ally consistently sent updates and photos, and it was obvious how comfortable and happy Ponyo was with her. When I picked him up, he immediately looked back for her—he clearly bonded with her and missed her the moment we left. She handled everything with kindness and professionalism. From his feeding routine to his dachshund-specific needs, she kept him safe, loved, and entertained. I boarded Ponyo with her and would 100% book with Ally again whenever I need help. Excellent with my dog
Ally is absolutely amazing and the absolute sweetest and very trusting with your home and pets!! If you need a sitter, walker or anything in between or more for you fur baby, she is a MUST!! She would drop into our house and watch our border collie mix, Winnie. She would take her on a nice walk around the neighborhood and play with her when she got back, assuring Winnie was content and happy before she headed out. Winnie, my husband and I adore Ally, we couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for our pup!! 🐶
Our daughter Ally, is a responsible and caring pet lover. She worked at a local doggy daycare until she left for college. She dedicates her time to understand the needs of all dogs and provides them with a loving and safe environment. This includes our dog Charlie. He loves his “sister” and his tail doesn’t stop wagging whenever she’s around!

Schedule
As a student I have a lot to do in a day, so drop in visits/walks are ideal, but house sitting is a viable option as well!
