Safety, trust & environment
I have a full DBS check, pet first aid qualification and plenty of experience both pet sitting and boarding. I also had my own dog so I understand the importance of making your dog feel safe at home when a stranger is round.
Information Ally M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any current medical issues I need to know about - including dietary requirements or intolerances. It will also be helpful to know if your dog has good recall, fine to go off lead or if they have any kinds of reactivity issues towards humans, dogs, cats etc.
A typical day
Typical dog walking day will be to come and pick up the dogs and take them somewhere familiar for their first walks until they get more familiar with me. I use lots of enrichment games as well as reinforcing training commands and ensure the dog gets the correct amount of walking based on their breed. When dog sitting, I like to provide loads of enrichment games indoors to keep the dogs stimulated and relaxed, also ensuring regular toilet breaks.

Experienced Dog Walker +
Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs in and around my life, in 2020 I founded a dog walking and sitting business that has successfully grown over the past 5 years. I recently qualified to become a dog behaviourist and trainer and have joined rover to gain some more experience as well as continuing to work with dogs. My methods are ethical and I only use positive reinforcement training (no prong, e-collars etc.) As you can tell I have a strong passion caring and walking dogs and yours will be in good hands and well looked after.
Reviews

Ally was absolutely amazing with our dogs Remi and Buster! From the start he was friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced with dogs. He kept us updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which was so reassuring and really showed how much he cares. It was obvious that Remi and Buster were having a great time they absolutely loved him! Seeing how comfortable and happy they were made us feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful for the care he gave them and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommend Ally to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter! Thanks again 🐾 🐾

Absolutely fantastic!! Lots of updates whilst we were away, which really helped reassure us. A perfect house guest too - would definitely recommend to anyone and definitely hope to book again!! Thanks so much 😃
Ally walked our dog Moose and was brilliant. She is a strong and reactive dog so we have struggled to find dogwalkers we feel comfortable with, but Ally had brilliant control and also combined the walks with training for her which was very helpful. We'd get sent videos of Moose on her walk with tips about how to keep her calm in situations where she often gets stressed. Highly recommended!
I can’t recommend Ally enough. It’s always nerve-wracking leaving your dog with someone else, but Ally is brilliant with Benji. You can tell he truly cares about the dogs he walks. Benji gets so excited whenever Ally shows up! Five stars for a professional and caring walker
